Uhmmm...Actually ,as far I remember , the D20 "AD&D" Ruleset was usually avaible only on some expesive rule-books...Can you tell me where did you find it? Are you just speaking about a "lite" version or a full one? By the Way, remodelling the Ruleset would be really useful...I've tried to get some balancing between the Level/EXP and the level/"HP-ATK-DEF" and it is awfully unmanageable... For example , has someone got any decent values about the the ratio between exp from level n to level n+1? A linear approach cannot be used or it will cause severe balancing problems...it's like the gears of a car: The distance between the 1st and the 2nd gear isn't the same between the 5th and the 6th: nor the same, nor a multiple of the same value!The same can be considered true for the levels. I hope I explained it correctly... Another problem comes when defining the values correctly for enemies, without any classes it's extremely hard to define a coherent "level-growth" behaviour between the races... |
