GA, NN, Machine Vision, Fuzzy Logic... all these are tools for a system to make simplifications of the work. The real power of AI is on learning based on examples and in scheduling. So in my opinion AI system should have: - a Expert System will a knowledge database for each creature. - a Case Based Reasoning tool. - a Scheduler ( POP-like is a good one ). This will create a real powerfull AI system, as it has a fast stable reply due to ES, a great humanlike example based learning, and it has ( should have ) the ability to simplify and structure problems solutions. Really ambitious task, as the whole Arianne is... BTW I have real experience both with ES and CBR. Regards, Miguel |
