I have no purchased the card yet. If it doe not work with Clonezilla, I will have to take a different approach.
Will this raid card work with clonezilla. I know most will not. https://www.highpoint-tech.com/product-page/ssd6202a Their web site states: HighPoint Industrial and Virtualization solutions feature integrated host, hardware-level RAID 0, 1 and JBOD capability. RAID arrays hosted by SSD6200 series controllers are fully transparent and will be automatically recognized by all current VM and OS platforms as available single-drives. No drivers, special procedures or software application is required.
Before dump/restore fixed the ftruncate and core dump errors, I checked out borg as a suitable replacement. Since I have to backup up a bunch of qemu-kvm virtual drive, which are sparse files, I picked out three to backup with borg. It doesn't seem to be overwritten by dnf upgrade I just verified it myself. I also verified you have to remove to old one to upgrade to the one you posted.
Thank you!!! Will you be uploading the good ones to the Fedora repo's? Dnf update will overwrite the good ones otherwise

I am confused. How do I get my hands on the good code?
The new rpm core dumps. See https://sourceforge.net/p/dump/bugs/185/ Bummer.

Is this warning just noise or is there something wrong?
Not having any luck building my own. I do believe the hold up is the spec file. To create an rpm from scratch using the b52 tar ball, what would your spec file look like?
RPM?
I am still seeing this on Fedora 41 and dump-0.4-0.57.b47.fc41.x86_64. Would you please re-open this bug report.

Hi All, Had a Fedroa 30 (yes, that old) server go down. The drives are RAID1 : /dev/md126: Container : /dev/md/imsm0, member 0 Raid Level : raid1 I presume that is RSTe raid, but I am not sure. I want to clone one of the drives over to a single NVMe drive. I know that Clonezilla does not like raid drives. Is there a way to clone one of the drives anyway? Many thanks, -T

Oh yes. It works perfectly. Love clonezilla, especially the rescue mode. You just do no have any idea what the progress is after the status line corrupts. (The progress bar works but is sticks and halts on bad sectors, so it loses it usefulness too,) In the my attachment above, clonezilla rescued a failing Intel SSD drive. Awesome stuff!
Hi Steven, This happens on all my customer's machines, without exception. An occasional full refresh on the elapsed time status line would correct this problem. -T
clonezilla-live-3.0.3.22-amd64.iso Would one of our intrepid heroes please fix the elapsed time status line. The attachment show what happens after a bit of time. At one point the line had "warning" written across it.

Hi All, I am going to clone a Windows gpt mechanical drive to a smaller SSD drive. I am going into gparted and resizing the large partition (sda3, C:) so it will fit on the new ssd drive. Question: there is a tiny sda4 hanging out there, which is presume is the gpt partition tables. Do I also need to move sda4 to the end of sda3 or is it okay to just leave it at the end of the disk? Many thanks, -T

Rats! Thank you for your patience.
Is the answer top secret?
I am cleaver as can be when it comes to repairing operating systems. What I need to get over is the DLLs and the registry. I can repair the rest. Often times customers DO NOT have their keys or their source code for software and a lot of times their software is mission critical and abandoned. So I really would like my question answered for future reference.
From my original post, did you see that I know how to use gparted? That is following the FAQ. The source drive was too (mechanically) corrupted for even Windows chkdsk to repair. Windows would not even boot without choking on bad sectors. (The guy should have called me a the first sign of trouble, but did not.) I tried gparted anyway and it choked on the drive and told me to run "chkdsk/ r" in Windows on the corrupted drive. I had to install fresh on the new drive. Customer was happy because I managed...
If I clone to a partition on a third hard drive first, the restore the partition to the new smaller drive, will that limitation be removed?
Where are the hardware requirements? Does it run Fedora?
1) does this take credit cards? 2) If yes A) is it PCI certified (letter on file)? B) does it work with chip readers terminals? 2) does this support digital signature pads? 3) Does this have lot tracing (aerospace parts, etc.)? 4) does this have electronic billing? Many thanks, -T
Will Clonezilla allow me to clone a 2TB NTFS (not encrypted) drive with 100 GB used to a smaller 1TB SSD drive? Or do I have to re-size the partitions first (gparted)?

Hi All, Fedora 36 clonezilla-live-3.0.1.8-amd64.iso Can I clone to a HighPoint SSD7202 hardware RAID controller configured for RAID 1 from an NVMe RAID 1 volume? https://www.highpoint-tech.com/gen3-nvme-m2-bootable Many thanks, -T

Works perfectly with naps2-6.1.0-setup.exe
Hi Matteo, This error also occures with Windows 10-1803 Pro x64 and HP Office Jet Pro 9025 scanner. The cause is a little more obvious (paper jams, etc.). Both computers work perfectly with naps2-6.1.0-setup.exe Please fix this! As it stands, I can no longer install iCopy on my customer's computers. Rats!
1.6.5 extremely slow to start with network scanners
Odd. It will ADF one page just fine, but not three. I will experiment with properties to see if I can figure out which one is doing it. Since this is very important to my customer and the Espon scanner interface is a nightmare, if I can not get iCopy working, do you have a favorite alternative?
Awesome. Thank you!
