I guess I misunderstood. I thought that I could just install Clonezilla and run it locally instead of using a Live USB.

In a terminal: 1) sudo apt-get update 2) sudo apt-get install clonezilla 3) sudo clonezilla 4) device-image work with disks or partitions using images 5) local_dv Use local device 6) Press enter to continue 7) All drives were then displayed correctly 8) Press Ctrl-C to exit the Window 9) Select the disk/directory with the Clonezilla images 10) Errors ensue
