Let me add that "-extension RANDR" added to vcxserv commandline (mentioned in link above) seems to fix the problem for me.

Same for me. When I use 1.14.3 on my Windows 10 1703 x64 with GTX1060 running 376.53 drivers, glxinfo shows graphics card properly. On newer editions, GDI generic is shown. I can also see a difference by running a movie in VLC. On OpenGL GLX output driver i have red window contents on VcXsrv > 1.14.3, works perfectly fine on older version. With newer ones, only OpenGL (Expermiental) works.
