Lensfun
Lensfun provides a command (lensfun‑update‑data) that will update the lensfun database and save the updated version on your file system. No need to run this as root - the utility will inform you where it's put the updated files. In my case it put a bunch of xml files in /var/lib/lensfun-updates/version_1/. You can then update these xml files to include your lens correction, which darktable will use the next time you run it. When your camera is officially added, you can run lensfun-update-data again...
