Correction data is available on lensfun for the panasonic DMC-TZ71. AFAIK the DMC-TZ70 is essentially identical to the TZ71 (Darktable treats them identically for other modules) but because of the differing model names, is not detected when I attempt lens correction in Darktable using lensfun. I have been asked by the Darktable devs to raise this upstream with the lensfun project.

Please can you add the TZ70 model and its fixed Leica lens as a duplicate of TZ71 correction data. I have done this locally and it seems to provide good results.

How did you managed to change it locally in darktable? I'm interested to add my Nikon D5600 until they add it officially.

Lensfun provides a command (lensfun‑update‑data) that will update the lensfun database and save the updated version on your file system. No need to run this as root - the utility will inform you where it's put the updated files. In my case it put a bunch of xml files in /var/lib/lensfun-updates/version_1/.

You can then update these xml files to include your lens correction, which darktable will use the next time you run it. When your camera is officially added, you can run lensfun-update-data again - it pull down the official versions and overwrite your local amendments.
