Pros: - threading is the "default" (just called Topics) inside streams
- Self hosted is simple to do
- "easy" integrations/webhooks
- Slack "emulation" integration works and "easy" to get going to start
- No fancy/flashy layouts
- easy to get webhooks into streams and topics (per day/hour/etc.)
- Selfhosted freeCons: - Self hosted you have to deal with your own server hosting issues
- Not everybody integrates first natively to Zulip
- Takes getting used to
- No fancy/flashy layoutsOverall: I love and use it daily!

It doesn't have fancy flashy layouts, but it works and that is what is important to me, especially for receiving error messages/reports into the right stream/topic.
