    "Horrible company. YOU ARE WARNED."

    Edited 2023-09-28

Pros: That i didn't end up having to pay for their horrid "customer service". There's not many other positives, honestly.

Cons: You have to PAY for customer service in order to get back into your account. they are RUDE. They take SO LONG before answering the phone (10+ minutes). You end up NOT being able to get into your account. POS company.

Overall: I couldn't get into my account despite having BOTH username AND password correct. My phone number changed, but I didn't think about changing it in my email. They verify you aren't a bot by sending you a one time code through your phone number. But again, my number changed. Had to contact PAID customer service to try to get back in. YES, PAID! Waited 10+ minutes for someone to answer. They were rude. Short & cold. Didn't actually help me, after they said they would. This was a spam email for me, so I couldn't remember the first & last name correlated to the email account. After that, the verification process stopped, and they "couldn't" help me get in. Piece of trash company. Choose Gmail instead, every time.

"A good email platform but could be better"

    Posted 2023-03-12

Pros: Yahoo! Mail is the first electronic mail platform I ever used, I use to get emails, newsletters and attachment easily with no stress, sending emails was indeed fast, it doesn't consume lots of data and it was highly secured. It was indeed reliable back in the days.

Cons: It has been years since I logged in to Yahoo! Mail only to find out that the platform layout is still quite old. Attachments are often slow while uploading/sending.

Overall: I really enjoyed using Yahoo! Mail back in the days, it was my dad that introduced it to me and I ended up seeing how reliable it was until recent times.

"They keep blocking my incoming email in my client list."

    Posted 2022-11-03

Pros: It used to be good. Umm. It's free.

Cons: After 15 or so years I'm looking for another email client. It's impossible to re-sign up with Email contacts that I have in my contacts list after Yahoo blocked them on their own even though they are in my contacts list... They just stopped allowing them through about a couple of months ago. I subscribe to other newsletters (In my contacts list) They mark as spam and they acknowledge that's the newsletters are in my contacts list. I have to click "It's safe" Every day. I no longer get the newsletters I subscribe to regarding 3D modeling. They block your contacts and show you the finger when you try to get them whitelist again. Aside from that it's okay.

Overall: A daily source of frustration. I can cool forward to not getting emails from people in my contacts list.

    "Good platform"

    Posted 2021-02-21

Pros: Yahoo Mail used to be the leader of email during its age. Yahoo is much more than just a mailing platform.

Cons: Yahoo Mail is prone to a lot of spams. The interface is buggy.

Overall: Okayish experience overall. Yahoo needs to work on its interface and email filtering to avoid spam mails.

    "Yahoo mail"

    Posted 2021-01-20

Pros: Easy and Nice, had everything going for it, useful for contacts etc.
then the same old story till 'Money 'kicks in.

Cons: Open source doesn't pay Bonuses or Shareholders,
Ever since Verizon bought Yahoo it was only a question of Time,
    Bombarde-mail accounts ,
Wait for it, Ad-free go pro $35.00 per year.

Overall: Was Happy with it, Clean simple, to be Recommended.
Ad lockers don't work on e-mail accounts,
    Money for management does.
I will put up with it for the time being.

"General good, but has always had issues with hacking"

    Posted 2020-11-19

Pros: It's a decent email service and fills the average users needs. It looks alright, there's nothing complex about it, and there's no issues with services denying your email as Yahoo is pretty widely seen as legit and typically safe.

Cons: I've never seen any service have so many hacked accounts over the years like Yahoo. It's always Yahoo, and I don't know why. Pretty much every person I've known who's had an email through them has had at least one account hacked. No idea why this is still a problem to this day.

Overall: Yahoo is alright. It doesn't feel as polished as Gmail, but it's accepted everywhere that asks for an email at sign up. While it's service is solid, it's prone to accounts getting hacked for some reason. Change your password frequently. I've had to keep an account on Yahoo for professional and briefly for academic reasons, and I'm not a big fan. Outlook and Gmail are definitely superior for general use, and there's absolutely tons of far more secure, private email services out there as well. I keep an account because I have to.

    "Good, yet could be better"

    Posted 2020-11-19

Pros: Simplicity, ease of use, well known, and professional. This is a great email service as it works efficiently, however there are a few things that could be better about their user interface.

Cons: The only thing about Yahoo Mail that I dislike is the way emails trails are displayed. For some reason the email trail does not show in chronological order. When I'm replying to a trail, it takes me forever to find an older email because of the way they are displayed. Also, finding attachments that were previously sent is pretty difficult. IT could use some better features for convenience.

Overall: Yahoo Mail is great for personal emails and little things here in there, however, when emailing with attachments and having long email trails, it sometimes gets muddy and is hard to navigate the trail.
