    "Simple and works"

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: Fair priced, fast setup, good features.

SMS features are a simple and great value add.

Setting up new trunk and adding DIDs takes minutes.

Cons: No shared/ multi logins - so managing with a team is difficult.

Overall: I tried a few different providers before settling on voip. I use for trunks, and their setup is fast, and cost is very reasonable.

    "Awesome, professional service"

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: Pay-as-you-go; excellent customer service; clear calls; all the features and more of legacy phone companies. Great for both business and home lines.

Cons: Rare but occasionally for my home must restart router to reestablish service when it is lost. Have not had this issue on the business system.

Overall: Been a happy customer for many years now. Website is excellent and easy to use to configure. Saved a ton of money on phone service over the years.

"Best for customized and hybrid business communications"

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: There are more products and menus within VoIP.ms to configure, exactly what's required for business communications needs. Just looking at a small part of the inbound, having 1-800 numbers, different location offices & local numbers, multiple IVR reception, hunting/ ring groups, very typical. More so now with the hybrid workforce. Any location incl. home offices can be part of a seamless company wide telephone system.

Cons: More to learn but worth it.

Overall: Now years of reliable service.

    "Amazing Support!!!"

    Posted 2021-07-15

    Pros: Self serve portal.
Easy Customization of sub accounts / DIDs
    Reseller interface.
    Low per-minute prices.
Lots of "free" features to add to a phone system. (Voice Mail, IVR, SMS, etc...)

Cons: It's getting harder to open new VOIP.ms accounts for people I want to setup directly with VOIP.ms instead of setting them up under me as a client.

Overall: VOIP.ms has been the base of my VoIP reselling business, I really like all the features they offer that other providers don't (I have tried a number of others that simply didn't do what I needed). And the ability to completely customize everything without needing to bug them, all from the portal. Also the absolutely awesome support they provide over Live Chat and Email 24/7. Thanks VOIP.ms for the solution you provide for my business!

"Great quality, perfect price, top support"

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: Everything went smoothly, got tons of support for my installations, and the service works without a hitch. Couldn't be happier.

Cons: VOIP services aren't obvious. Setting up multiple extensions, mailboxes etc requires some expertise. This is not a hands-off turnkey box, but at this price, even if you pay someone to set it up for you, it's great. (Note: VOIP.ms won't do that for you.)

Overall: Outstanding transition from other supplier, good continuity, good support for multiple devices. Very happy overall. It would be damn near impossible to get me to switch.

    "VOIP.ms is Great"

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: The pricing and support are top notch, and the voice quality is as good as that on a wired line. User interface is fairly simple and comprehensive. Configuring call routing is straightforward.

Cons: It's hard really to think of any negatives. Of course, there are many services that I have not used yet; I have been using it as a phone for my office. I have yet to set up OnHold music or voicer messages.

Overall: Overall my experience has been superb. Of course, the object is to be transparent to the user, so the fact that I am seldom aware of VOIP is a testament in itself. But I have encountered no problems, either in terms of availability, voice quality, flexibility or pricing.

    "Great pricing, fast support"

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: Wholesale pricing for everyone. You really can't beat the prices - especially if you already have a PBX and just need a reliable SIP provider. You get real people on chat when there's an issue who actually have access to see and do things.

Cons: Officially, I am on the hook for determining and remitting telecom taxes because they are based on Canada (they do cover collecting 911 taxes). Realistically, this is a huge burden that basically no customer can do. I would pay extra to have this done for me and be totally legitimate in the eyes of the law. It's sometimes hard getting exactly the phone number prefix you want and you may have to settle for a less local number if you're not porting a number in.

Overall: I went away from more expensive providers that were supposedly all inclusive because of reliability or support issues. Here, I haven't needed it. Pricing is at the bare minimum, while quality is excellent.

    "Extremely Flexible VoIP Provider"

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: - Incredibly flexible - you can set things up almost any way you want.

    - Very competitively priced.

    - Excellent live chat support.

    - BYOD / seems to work with every SIP device I throw at it.

Cons: - Requires a fair bit of technical know-how around SIP, routing, and IP phones.

    - Not QUITE a cloud PBX. Setting up intra-office calling, paging, and other PBX type features is tricky or clunky.

    - No support for STIR/SHAKEN yet.

Overall: I have been using VoIP.MS for a few years now, for both personal, business, and resale purposes, and I have been very pleased. It is possibly the most flexible offering available today, and it is a straight up steal price wise. I just wish is had a few more PBX-like features (paging, unlimited ring groups, multiple device registration to same extension) but I haven't found a scenario yet that I could coax VoIP.MS into working in.

"Amazing rock solid service at equally amazing price."

    Posted 2021-07-15

    Pros: Great price.
    Complete product.
Easy to setup (the basics at least).
As simple or as complicated as your VoIP needs require.

Cons: Can get complicated with some of the more extensive implementations but that's to be expected when you have almost.every option under sun at your disposal.

The interface is very dated (though totally usable).

Overall: I've been with them for over a year and recommend them every chance I get, you won't be disappointed with getting well over what you pay for.

    "Great providers with fast support"

    Posted 2021-07-15

    Pros: - Really cheap
    - Fast support and fast did order
    - Hassle free portability
    - Easy to manage the sub account for the DID
    - Good and easy fax service

Cons: I would love to be able to get between sub account management and did management faster, other than that everything is doing what it's supposed to do.

Overall: I've been using voip.ms for more than one project and i never had any problem that the support couldn't resolve in the same day. Does everything you would need for a voip provider, cheap and reliable. Maintenances are well documented and next to no downtime from them.

    "Just perfect! "

    Posted 2021-07-15

Pros: As a provider, VOIP.MS makes it so simple using voip phones. The main reason I am selling their services is its wide variety of features. You can use SMS, Toll free number, easy transfer. Once you get to know the portal interface, there are no limits. Also their Wiki is way easier to follow and other competitors. Also, very good variety of server to connect to which makes the experience of calling better.

Cons: Sometimes the line is cutting but voip systems are kind of all the same for that. Depending on your region, sometimes you can have some bugs but you get to figure it out with time. My biggest CON is their US currency, even in Canada… it’s just always more complicated to have to change rate every time you're buying credits.

Overall: Overall, so far VOIP.MS is the best voip provider I found (tried over 6). I do recommend them for its compatibility on phones and APP.

Pros: VOIP.ms is easy to setup. The support is very helpful when you try to get things going. Good quality.

Cons: Pricing is a bit high, but worth it for the quality and service.

Overall: Happy with the product. Good quality for the price. You have an option to move to a higher quality in the calls which we didn't do and we are happy with the standard quality and rates.

    "Reliable SIP/VOIP trunking"

    Posted 2020-06-26

Pros: The high level of configurability of VOIP.ms service means it can be used in many many platforms. VOIP.ms provides configuration settings for desktop handset IP phones, softphone clients (desktop and mobile). We love the caller ID settings so that our remote workforce calls from our main number or a designated number. Customer service is almost always available to "chat" through the website with minimal delays and has helped us with some growing pains configuring new systems. Other features that we like: Call encryption, a feature which not a lot of companies offer.

Cons: Voip.ms offers no visual voicemail option. We would love to see visual voicemail. High level of configurability leads to a lot of potential settings issues and makes it easy to "break" the device association.

Overall: We've used VOIP.ms since 2013 starting with the old Linksys PAP2T analog phone adapters connected to our "phone system" as an attempt to take control over our crazy phone bills. 7 years later that same system works updated to Grandstream HT802 managing 4 incoming/outgoing phone lines. Our second business uses a combination IP deskphones and softphone clients. Our plan is to transition to an Asterisk based system as we continue to grow our business.
