Audience
SMBs (5-500 employees) and their IT, security, compliance, and HR leads - especially teams handling personal data under GDPR/CCPA: SaaS, finance, healthcare, legal, professional services.
About SafeInstinct
SafeInstinct is cybersecurity awareness training that turns security and privacy requirements into practical habits your team can use the same day. Instead of generic once-a-year courses, short 15-30 minute modules cover the threats employees actually face: phishing, business email compromise and payment fraud, data handling and classification, access and least privilege, and GDPR + CCPA readiness. New modules are added at no extra cost.
The Adaptive Risk-Based plan personalizes training automatically: a lightweight agent reports the apps each employee uses, and AI tailors their training path to that real risk profile, adapting as new signals appear. Admins can also generate custom trainings from a prompt to match internal policies.
An admin dashboard tracks assignments, due dates, completion and scores, with owner, admin and employee roles. Pricing is per user, billed annually, with all training modules included and per-user rates dropping as seats grow.

"Security training that didn’t feel like a checkbox " Posted 2026-07-30
Pros: It’s straightforward, and that’s the key. Many security awareness tools overwhelm you with slides that nobody finishes. This one doesn’t. The material is clearly written by knowledgeable individuals, not generic compliance filler. The examples align with real-world situations.
Cons: Having a mobile app is a significant advantage, especially for our team, which relies heavily on their phones for work. They would gladly spend short periods on their phones during their commutes if they had access to a mobile app.
Overall: We needed security awareness training that people would actually complete and retain. Our previous training sessions had become mere checkboxes, lacking substance and effectiveness. However, we developed a new training material that not only provided valuable information but also strengthened our internal knowledge base.

"SafeInstinct review" Posted 2026-07-29
Pros: Sales Instinct has an intuitive interface and I was in control of my learning in micro modules... no long sessions with videos and cheesy skits. The pricing was transparent and install simple. Cuts to the chase and has the reporting/compliance needed.
Cons: These trainings are always a bit dry but that is the nature of the material.
Overall: Great overall experience and I liked the ability to trial for free. This is a perfect fit for an SMB that doesn't need gamification and expensive / difficult implementation costs.

"Easy to use platform that provides peace of mind" Posted 2026-07-29
Pros: The platform is intuitive, easy to set up, and simple to navigate. It provides useful insights in a clear, organized format and makes it easy to stay informed without feeling overwhelmed. I appreciate how reliable and user friendly it is.
Cons: I haven’t experienced any major issues. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to add more customization options for alerts and reports, along with a few more advanced features for users who want additional detail.
Overall: I’ve been using SafeInstinct for a while now, and it’s been a good experience. It was quick to get started, and I didn’t have to spend a lot of time figuring things out. The information is presented clearly, so I can quickly see what I need without digging through a lot of menus. So far, it’s been reliable and has given me more confidence that I’m staying on top of things. While I’d love to see a few more customization options in the future, I’m happy with it overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use solution.

"Set up in three days by one person, no onboarding call needed" Posted 2026-07-29
Pros: The setup is genuinely fast for a security product. I came in from an infrastructure background expecting the usual enterprise onboarding friction and there was none. The content is short enough that people finish it, which is the part most awareness tools get wrong. It also gave us documented training records that we are using as evidence in our [certification] audit preparation, which saved me building that from scratch.
Cons: English only. My team is French-speaking and while everyone gets by, non-native speakers slow down on the written scenarios and I know the material lands less well than it would in their own language. Localisation would remove the main friction I have with it.
Overall: We are a small managed services company and had zero formal security awareness training before this. I picked SafeInstinct because I needed something my team would actually complete, not a compliance video nobody watches. Three months in, it does the job. Setup took me three days from signup to the first campaign running, without any vendor hand-holding.
