Pros: Modento has been great so far. Coming from Lighthouse 360, I love the chat features, ease of sending forms, iPads for checking in, and especially being able to do so much from my phone.I've seeing the schedule and having access to patient phone numbers so I can easily send messages from home.
Cons: Setting up and customizing forms was a little confusing and not quite as customizable as I would have liked, but they're very good still.
Overall: I'm loving it so far. Seeing schedules and being able to send messages through my phone has been a game changer. The digital forms hand been really nice to move us to a more paperless office.

Pros: We liked the patient medical history forms and we liked their promise to offer the same services as flex which turned out to be untrue. And after a few weeks of use we disliked it but the company won’t let us out of the contract they misrepresented. Flex let us go easy and now we are going back to them.
Cons: Their sly sales tactics that roped us into a 12 month contract. You have no chance to know whether you like their services or not before you're locked into a year.
Overall: They are more concerned about money than they are about meeting the needs of their customers. We showed them clearly how their communication with us made it look like it was a month to month service but now that we are hooked they don't care that they mislead and have not provided key services that they promised.

Pros: We love everything about this program in itself but what we really love is the customer service. In an industry where customer service is severely lacking, Modento has it figured out. They also roll out upgrades each month and are open to any and all enhancement requests you make.
Cons: Nothing. It's been wonderful. I have nothing negative to say. Give it a try, you're going to love it.
Overall: My overall experience with the software as well as customer service has been nothing short of great.

Pros: This system is easy to use for both patients and office use. The customer service is some of the best we have ever seen. Customization of forms, verbiage, and design is the best we have seen after trying 4 systems over the years!
Cons: I do wish we could have forms sent to multiple numbers at once for whichever parent comes versus having to change the primary cell phone each time a different parent comes. If the system was in tune enough to recognize when the forms were filled out, it could just inform the other person who has not yet filled out the form that forms have already been completed.
Overall: This program has so much to offer and we still have not used all components of it. It is smart, easy to use, and works well with Eaglesoft!

Pros: I especially love that Modento automatically imports all forms.. that I can send payment requests.. and that patients can send me paper shares of their insurance cards.
It’s honestly like having an extra teammates on staff but they’re not taking up office space.Cons: Sorry- I’m sitting here trying to come up with some feedback but I love everything about Modento.
Overall: I haven’t been excited like this about anything at the dental office in a long time. ⭐️ Product actually helps the practice run smoother. All the other software’s that promised to help felt archaic and very labor-intensive which really didn’t help

Pros: This software changed my life. My patients were "trained" overnight. This reduced the stress of the front and back teams by all of the auto communication to the patient about their appointments, paperwork, financials, treatment plans, and communication between the office at just a text away. Everything is on their phone! I don't have patients showing up without knowing what they are coming for, or forgetting or even trying to haggle the copay. Appointment no shows or short cancellations were cut by 90%. Texting between patients is so nice especially during these times of waiting in the car. I think my favorite feature is the pay request. No more forgetting your wallet, almost everyone has a digital card saved.
Cons: Nothing so far and I've been using it for a year. The support team is amazing and seem to be open to ideas on features.
Overall: This software is like a team of its own right in your PC. So grateful for this masterpiece. I can see it becoming a staple in every type of practice. It just makes sense.

Pros: You get a ton of features with Modento which makes your work a lot easier.
Features like preparation of treatment plan, voicemails, notification, and ease of interacting with the patients.
On top of everything, you get amazing customer support.Cons: I haven't come across any con till now, everything about Modento is just amazing.
Overall: Overall, the experience has been amazing with Modento, Simple user interface and the price of the application is also very competitive.

Pros: Easy to learn. Very user friendly! Modento is so easy you practically teach yourself. The support is incredible and we get immediate response with any questions we may have. We hit the ground running on day one!
Cons: Getting those non tech patients to embrace new technology.
Overall: We are in love! The new program is so easy to use that it was seamless to switch. We never missed a beat! Thank you Modento support for always being there with any question, big or small.

Pros: Being able to have patients sign using their smart phone or computer has really helped lower patient contact, which has been a big focus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Online check-ins has also helped manage patient flow when we closed our reception area. And the customization of patient forms has really helped keep the forms how we want them to look and ask the questions we want asked.
Cons: The only major setback is sometimes the texting system has problems with T-Mobile customers, which previous companies we've used (LH360, Legwork) didn't seem to have issues with. There is a workaround, but not a solution.
Overall: Overall, Modento is leaps and bounds ahead of most of their competitors. Although I don't doubt the rest will catch up eventually, their partnership with Swell sweetens the deal.

Pros: So easy to use! Very affordable, does what the high dollar companies do for a reasonable price. Love the new patient form feature! Makes what I have to do so much easier and faster.
Cons: We were a Beat test site for Eaglesoft and the product is always adapting and improving. Things that I wanted have been added without me having to ask.
Overall: So happy with this product and all its features. The patient reward system helps with cancellations, as they "get points for good behavior".

Pros: Love the ease of use and the deep integration to our practice management software. Kiosk feature is great, especially the digital consent library and how all signed documents are automatically imported into the patients chart!
Cons: No Android Kiosk app so have to use the download link. This is a nitpicky problem, but my team couldn't really figure it out.
Overall: Spectacular, this service has automated so many time consuming admin tasks! My admin team is so happy with the software.

Pros: Sends paperwork to patients before appointment! Updates things for us automatically. We can easily text patients and they can text us back. It's so great!
Cons: None that we have found yet. We have nothing negative to say about this software.

Pros: Contactless, everything can go to the patient's smart phone. Easy to communicate with patient's through the dashboard.
Cons: Still have a slight hiccup with patient photos not automatically saving to patient profile. Have to do it manually.
Overall: Very responsive service team, any time we have even a minor issue, they address it in a timely manner. Friendly. Excellent platform.

Pros: Modento turns time consuming, labor intensive tasks into simple clicks. Modento has allowed us to improve safety for our patients by shortening time in the waiting room. Patients love being able to complete forms online - and the office staff loves that we actually collect the information without chasing folks. An added bonus: so easy to collect and update insurance info! We have far fewer payment issues since implementing Modento.
Cons: Honestly have not found anything I do not like about Modento. Such an amazing improvement over the previous platform (and less expensive as well :)
Overall: The Modento team has been professional, helpful and responsive since the very first sales call. Support is only a text away. They answer questions quickly and are always willing to accept suggestions for improvement. Highly recommend this product and company!

Pros: The ease of communicating with patient, be it appointment reminders, bulk/mass emails (with parameters) especial occasion greeting messages (which my patients appreciate)availability of the most needed forms and you can add specific forms our offices uses.
Cons: Not being able to see medical alerts like in Eaglesoft medical history form
Overall: Wish I have learned about this product sooner. Everybody in the office enjoy the ease of putting out patient communication. Essential tool during this Covid pandemic.

Pros: Customizable forms, slick interface, reviews get right to google or Facebook, mobile access availability, fantastic and fast customer service that feels personable, no waiting on the phone to talk to anyone, made, easy communication with patient options.
Cons: Health forms don’t go straight to Dentrix health history.
Overall: Modento has transformed my practice’s communication efficiency, especially in times of COVID-19. I signed up with Modento in May of 2020. The reason is because the company I used before to handle our emails, text messaging, appointment confirmations were always just ok. But when COVID-19 hit, I needed a platform that is able to handle something more robust. And that’s where Modento came in to play. They are agile enough to handle the mass emails for communicating with patients for updates, streamlining the check-in process with text messages of health questionnaires and dental forms, customizable so I can tailor it to when and how these forms are distributed. They definitely had the customer support for my team to implement it into our systems seamlessly. It’s silly to get excited over communication software, but when there’s a company like Modento that acts and responds as quickly as if their entire support team is sitting next to you, it’s hard not to share the enthusiasm. Dentistry is hard enough, office communications shouldn’t be.

Pros: Modento always meets my request, and they always try to improve things daily. It's very easy to get assistance with the Modento support team.
Cons: I would like to see more designs, images, and templates when posting blast emails or text

Pros: I think this is the best communication software available in the dental space currently. Modento is chock full of all the features you can imagine plus so much more, plus they are adding new features all the time. From voice mail drops, to text to pay to paperless consent form and new patient paperwork to the patient loyalty reward program, they do it all plus more . The service is phenomenal as they are so attentive to change we would like to make. My team loves me because I added Modento to my office. I think that says it all.
Cons: Not much , some slight glitches here and there but nothing that is relevant , maybe for people that don't have Dentrix, Eaglesoft or Open Dental it is not compatible.
Overall: I think they have covered all the bases with this platform, consistently making the product better. I think this the is best of the best.

Pros: Our office has been using Modento for several months. We are a Pediatric Dental office in Washington. We have been in the midst of the COVID pandemic. Modento services of texting forms specifically tailored to our little clients has been very beneficial. The team worked very hard to make sure we were satisfied with the end result. The services offered by Modento lessons the amount of potential exposure and allows us to pre-screen our patients before they enter the office. We also use the texting for when patients arrive so this way we don't have them lingering in the lobby reducing our foot traffic. We are very excited to have the use of emoji's as well since it makes texting more fun.
Cons: The only thing we have noticed so far is that patients can text us but sometimes can't receive our responses. We are told this is because our patients may have this set to a spam number in their phones or with their service providers.
Overall: The service is wonderful. When we have questions or concerns the team is always standing by full time to assist us. Great Job!
