Maintenance Care

Pros: An easy to use system to manage maintenance task creation and execution.
Scheduled/preventative maintenance task option are great to maintain compliance regardless of staffing situation

Cons: Report generation is a bit cumbersome. Would like to get that streamlined a bit more.

Overall: Scheduled task options allow for employee turnover without missing repeating task completion.
Task creation URL is easy for anyone to upload tasks. The online system makes task management transparent throughout the process

Pros: Carley made the training easy and enjoyable she went over the system step by step and answered my questions.

Cons: There was nothing that i did not like about the system or the training.

Overall: It is a great tool to have. I have work with a lot of work order system in the passed this is one of the best.

Pros: Very easy to use. Easy to train my technician to use. Other departments can see that we have completed their requests. I can schedule tasks and ensure my technicians are getting Preventive Maintenance done. The app is easy to use.

Cons: I don't have any cons. The app is a great too to have

Overall: This is the best Maintenance system to use for Productivity. This is a great tool to have in a Maintenance Department. Schedule, Work orders for other Departments to keep in touch with the Maintenance Department

Pros: Many options including scheduling alerts and easy sorting. Ability to change status without opening the ticket

Cons: Nothing really stands out as a negative, if I really got picky, I could probably find something, but I am not that picky

Overall: I use it every day and without it my job would be a lot more difficult, the features cover all of my current needs

Pros: The system is user-friendly and facilitates consistent, efficient management of equipment and machinery. Key features include preventative maintenance, asset management, work orders, parts inventory, and analysis to determine whether equipment should be repaired or replaced. The support has been excellent, and the cost is very reasonable.

Cons: For the size of our operations and needs, we haven't encountered any negatives.

Overall: Our facility spans over 2 acres of greenhouses and includes approximately 22,000 square feet of office and laboratory space. Additionally, we farm around 5-10 acres of field flower seed production annually. With so much equipment and machinery to maintain, we chose Maintenance Care as our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for its user-friendly design, flexibility, and robust capabilities in managing our equipment assets. The web-based portal allows easy access from both PCs and mobile devices, simplifying our workflow. We particularly appreciate the simplicity of scheduling preventative maintenance tasks. We've also empowered our employees by giving them access to submit maintenance requests through the web portal, enabling quick and efficient communication of repair needs. Pricing played a significant role in our decision, as the cost is very reasonable. The support provided has also been excellent.

Pros: User friendly! I've been using the system for three years now and it works pretty well. I do wish it was user friendly to run reports.

Cons: Running reports is difficult to figure out. I.E. I like to share with the admin how much time we spend at each of our locations. Which trade we spend most of our time troubleshooting, etc.

Overall: Overall, we are happy with Maintenance Care. I like how you can assign categories, people, tasks, etc.

-Great for prioritizing jobs

Cons: We don't really have any cons to mention. The program continues to work good years later.

Overall: The overall experience of using this product has been good. The only issue would be connectivity for the app in our old building, which is nothing to do with the program.

Pros: It makes my job more organized and much more efficient when prioritizing work orders. Making sure projects get completed in a timely manner making it easy for me and the people putting in the request.

Cons: It would be nice if was able to add photos to projects and access them for before and after.

Overall: Maintenance Care makes my job easier and less stressful. I can access the program even when away from work allowing me to make a plan before returning to work after days off.

Pros: The software is easy to understand and use. The program itself is great for keeping documentation.
The mobile app is great for on the go.

Cons: Adding users was a little difficult to figure out at first.

Overall: My overall experience with the product has been very positive. I have been using this program for nearly 10 years and highly recommend it.

Pros: Great program to list and prioritize maintenance tasks including routine preventative maintenance jobs that must be completed as per regulations.
We use the program as well as part of our quality improvement committee to analyze, trend set and benchmark.

Cons: None - we like the program and have always found it easy to use.

Overall: Easy to use program. Keeps our team organized and ensure high priority tasks are completed in a timely manner.
The program helps the maintenance team ensure all requirements under the FLTCA are itemized as part of the preventative maintenance tasks to ensure we meet regulations/ guidelines.
Easy to use program that we have installed in all our nursing units so that anyone can enter a maintenance repair request and nothing is missed.
Tracking monthly and quarterly tasks helps us as well in our quality improvement, including documenting equipment repairs to ensure we are using resources effectively for the life of the product.

Pros: It is a consistent method of tracking work and hours for a large maintenance staff. The filters are useful in finding and matching work orders. It syncs on the PC, tablet, and phone.

Cons: The reporting portion is difficult to manipulate. It doesn't calculate hours when a Work Order is worked over multiple days, and we have to rely on the staff to update the time spent manually. It would be nice to be able to duplicate work orders for routine repeated tasks. It would be helpful to be able to mark several work orders to update or print, instead of one at a time - also to be able to mark a list as invoiced. I think this is the most inconvenient part for me.

Overall: Overall, it provides a way to track work and time for use in billing. It is easy to use for the basics, however, I am sure that it is capable of more than we have been able to implement. We don't have any IT trained staff, and we are all very busy, so if a function isn't super easy to understand - it doesn't get used.

Pros: The ease of the program! All staff are able to use it.
Convenience of having all our service programs, inventory and job tasks in one place. Makes it easy to keep track of our facility assets and helps with Preventative Maintenance of our HVAC.

Cons: Initial work to load all assets but once that is done it's all there for you.

Overall: Progressed from the basic program - maintenance job tasks then moved up to a program that included preventative maintenance and facility assets - works for us!

Pros: Works great easy to use and great support very quick to respond to any problems you may have staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons: Exporting graphs sometimes works but staff gave great workaround nothing much more then that everything just works.

Overall: Great overall happy with service and app wish more apps were like this have used for years and will keep using.

Pros: The program is very easy to use. The user interface is in no way overwhelming. The app on the smart phone is a great added bonus feature.

Cons: There isn't much to not like with this software.

Overall: I was tasked with saving our department years ago and found maintenance care for a fraction of the price of the software we were paying for.

Pros: Very easy program to use. Loads of options to be specific about any work orders. Adding receipts etc. are a breeze.

Cons: I have no issues at all working with the program so far.

Overall: Use the program daily. Loads of options to separate work orders. Downloading of files to add to system is easy as well.

Pros: Very professional looking.
Easy to navigate.
Lots of features.
Regular updates and new platform look.
Easy to navigate as an administrator.

Cons: The only downfall, at times, is that we are in BC and support, I believe is on the East coast. Sometimes when there is a complete glitch, it takes a bit to have us back up and running correctly. We rely so heavily on Maintenance Care that we definitely appreciate when the program is returned to normal use.

Overall: We have been using this program for many years and have enjoyed how it has developed and grown as our industry has advanced. We have trained our staff with easy, and they have bought into the importance of completely utilizing the program to the fullest.

Pros: Having the ability to easily create new areas.
Ability to use this to bill out my staff maintenance time to specific tasks and programs.
Easy to search work orders.
Email confirmations.

Cons: Maybe could have tutorial videos for new users/hires.

Overall: A great tool! My maintenance team is able to use it and they have varying degrees of comfort with technology. My accounting team uses it for reporting and billing. I wish I new about this tool in my last job!

Pros: Ease of set up.
The support received for trouble shooting/ minor issues.
Ease of use by front line staff.
Reporting.
New software format is even better than the original system.

Cons: When ever I come up with a road block, I am able to overcome it with Support and Customer Service. There aren't too many times I've had to so no real cons here.

Overall: From the initial set up 7 years ago, to today, the experience with Maintenance Care, its support team, and developers, has been terrific. The webinars are an excellent way to discover the latest in updates, technologies and their application to the day-to-day usage by front line staff and administrators.

Pros: It is easy to setup, easy to use and easy to make changes to as your needs evolve! The report functions are great and we use them regularly. Scheduling repeating tasks is a snap.

Cons: To date we haven't really had any issues or problems with the software.

Overall: We have been using Maintenance Care for many years and have been very happy with it from the initial setup, through the ongoing communications and updates. We plan on using for years to come.

Pros: Covers all of our work order needs and helps with tracking of our needs. Easy to use by all staff members and the app is a breeze to install and use.

Cons: We have no cons to report for this product it meets all of our needs.

Overall: This is one of the best maintenance software programs that we have used and will continue to use for our company needs.
