HostelBeds is a web-based property management system designed for hostels that sell dorm beds individually. It manages reservations at bed level, placing new bookings according to hostel rules and moving guests to an eligible bed for their full stay when a bed becomes unavailable. Its calendar and front-desk workspace bring together occupancy, arrivals, departures, housekeeping tasks, bed and room blockers, and check-in activity. Dorm rates can be adjusted by season, weekday, and occupancy within configured minimum and maximum limits. A channel manager synchronizes availability, rates, and reservations with more than 68 booking channels, including Booking.com and Hostelworld. Hostels can also offer a direct booking page with payments through Stripe. Reports cover occupancy, average daily rate, revenue per available bed, channel commissions, outstanding balances, and task completion.
