Pros: Nothing. NOTHING.
Cons: I hate how I pay GoDaddy thousands of dollars every year for the 2 websites, custom emails and many many domains… YET they still feel the need to plaster go daddy ALL OVER my emails. As a business owner this is unacceptable, I am paying you for my emails. I am paying you for my website, it’s not a free service. I do not want YOU to tell every one of my clients that I used GoDaddy for the website. Looking for another provider that doesn’t care to promote themselves to my clients
Overall: Terrible. No customer support. I called them to let them know I do not want to be a part of their conversations platform and for the emails to go directly to my inbox so I can reply to my clients directly. They said ok no problem we’ll turn it off. Yea they turned it off alright, I wasn’t getting any emails from my clients for 2 weeks until a couple of client called and said they emailed us and haven’t received a response. Turns out they just turned off the notifications to go to our inbox, their stupid conversations app was keeping the emails on their website 😡We lost out on thousands of dollars. And their response was, sorry we can give you a $30 discount on your next renewal. F you! Do not go with GoDaddy, they used to be good, until they forgot who they work for.

Pros: I like the IDEA of being able to respond to texts sent to me from customers. I'm able to make and receive calls, but unable to respond to text messages at all. All-in-one for email and phone would be great if all the features would work.
Cons: The fact that I've tried to complete the verification process now FIVE TIMES, with multiple appeals and resubmissions, I still (after 3 months of trying) am being told by the customer support team that they refuse to escalate the issue higher than a level 2 review because the issue is with the carrier and not GoDaddy. Mind you, it's a process that GoDaddy forces new customers to go through, but tells us in the rejection notices that the outsourced vendor will have no information to provide and to contact GoDaddy Support... WHO DON'T HELP to resolve. I've now missed out on three months of business as I am unable to communicate effectively using the app, and no one will help me! The denials are never the same too... They don't say all at once what needs to be altered, clarified, or fixed... Just one thing and then when that's updated, and I pay for verification (nearly $20 each) again, a new reason causes the denial. It's maddening!!!!
Overall: It could be good if the verification process would work. I've spoken to tech support so many times on the phone and also opened multiple tickets with the ATS team. The gentleman who I spoke to today, was communicating with the 2nd level support team and they refused to speak to me OR open an escalation for review. Their ONLY response was to resubmit the verification ticket again, which means I have to pay the fee for the FIFTH time, and I guess hope for the best. The gentleman I was speaking to was SO kind, but the 2nd level not only refused to speak to me or help me but closed the call with the 1st level rep. WHILE he was still speaking to them!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely AWEFUL customer service!

Pros: The service allows you to make phone calls and the automatic voicemail for a business sounds, good. Voice services work similar to Google voice which is free.
Cons: The support team is awful and they are unable to help. In my instance, they can't successfully provide guidance to help legitimate business customers gain approval through carriers to text message customers. Customers can follow all requirements and still get denied. They send you the same error message and profit off of your application fees. Their support has guided me towards denials 9 times.
Overall: This product is useless if the business can't send SMS messages to help with customer conversions. Our business has a voice line already.

Pros: I have tried working with this company 2 times, both times they reject my text messaging applications, worst part is paid the full year completely. Tried calling customer service 8 times, all of the times they left me waiting and for some reason call dropped, How strange is that? Finally I asked for a refund they said for me to send a request through the app, which I did and to my surprise they said it would take 15 more days. Guess wha? An email was sent to me stating I did not qualify for a refund. What type of service is this, I couldn’t use your service because of you. And yet you will decide not to refund my money because you reject to do your Job? I’m not satisfied and will take this to the news, this is a total Scam. I do not give any stars to this company and will pursue legal actions for the lost of my company’s money.

Pros: Did like GoDaddy Smartline but Conversations is a poor substitute. It is hard to believe go daddy supports this app now!
Cons: Conversations is a disaster! It is difficult to get rid of junk mail and really difficult to save a new customer to your contacts!
Overall: Awful. A poor substitute for GoDaddy Smartline. Who could substitute this app for GoDaddy Smartline?????

Pros: None. They got rid of a great service with SmartLine and went to a horrible service of Conversations line.
Cons: Unable to see the callers number or name of contacts calling you. System very glitchy. Drops calls, callers unable to hear you. Used Smart Line for a couple years and didn’t realize how good it was until they updated to Conversations Line which is horrible!
Overall: Don’t use! Not good. Not a reliable service for any business out there. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros: The price is pretty good, don’t have to carry 2 phones, can use for work, has MMS messaging feature,
Cons: I used to love GoDaddy SmartLine, however they recently changed to conversations app and it’s horrible. I can’t ever open the app, can’t make calls, it force closes and it freezes. It doesn’t play voicemail and I used this for work for the past 4 years. My clients fare very frustrated. In switching right after I write this review.
Overall: Terrible with new changes, don’t recommend. The company must be tone def as many people have complained and they haven’t switched back or updated.

Pros: Sadly the only positive feature I can think of is the the Conversations logo is nice. How sad that I have been using Go Daddy for over two years (with no issues) and my experience with Conversations has been a total disaster.
Cons: Having my text, voicemails, and emails in the same place may sound like an option that would make my life easier, however, the app does not work well, when I try to switch from email to text/calls/voice messages it only successfully switches about 20% of the time. There have been two occasions when I had no access to calls/text/voicemail messages for two whole days and was unable to get it resolved because the customer service failed me miserably. About four “dropped” calls, that mysteriously “dropped“ right after the rep was at a loss for a solution to my issue.
Overall: I would like to think that every business has a transitioning stage where some kinks need to be worked out, however, this company truly is ran poorly, the customer service is not only unhelpful, but downright rude, And overall, the product that they are offering is inferior to what’s out there on the market.

SmartLine was wonderful and they force you to use Conversations without consent. Nothing good about it.Cons: Smart Line was great, the number I am using is for my business and it doesn't work! Can't receive calls. So I am missing business calls. I have to change all my listing's with my regular cell phone asap.
Overall: Horrible, I'm not able. To be reached with my business number which is linked to this app.

Pros: Nothing good. Unneeded functionality which is useless as the most important function the telephone module does not work.
Cons: I spend over a $1,000 per year on Godaddy products. The transition to Conversations has been a complete nightmare in every conceivable way.
Words cannot express how bad it really is.
I had dealt with a dedicated staff member and he is simply unable to help with any guidance that works. Of course, that does not negate the horrendous transition.Overall: World's worst app and guidance: run from this product to save you headaches. It will be six months before they work out the defects.

Pros: Very sad to say that there's nothing positive to say about this product.
I don't hold the staff at GoDaddy Tech Support responsible for this mess.
I spent 3 hours yesterday on the phone with Tech Support and unfortunately the staff was as frustrated as I was.
They themselves are frustrated with this poor
platform.Cons: Everything about this app is discouraging. Can't digest the thought how did GoDaddy get caught up with a product like this.
Overall: I have been a Customer of GoDaddy for over 17 years and have over 120 of their products including domains, websites and smart lines.

The new conversations is a cheap garbage app that doesn't connect or notify me when customers call also won't hang up when I push the end call Button, have to power off my phone every time to hang up. Can't cut and paste a number from anywhere to the phone dialer. Won't Move my texting conversation to the top of the list. So I have to scroll down and find the contact every time to send another message. Wasn't thought out well at all.. Pros: No pros, nothing was upgraded that worked with SmartLine, but lost the basis functionality of the phone benefits.
Cons: Smartline was a basis second phone attached to your cell phone.
Conversations will not do basis calling features:
Conversations will NOT show you the phone number or name of the person who is calling even when that caller is set up in your contacts.
Conversations will NOT put the outgoing call you make to the top of your history.
Conversations will NOT put the outgoing text you make to the top of your history.Overall: Terrible customer service, no one at Go Daddy can support the product.

Pros: Nothing, nada.
Cons: Absolutely awful! Smart Talk was fine. The transition to Conversations was not smooth, at all. I wasted soooo much time trying to get help as some information ported over, some didn't. My texts aren't being received consistently, I can only attach 1 file/attachment to a text (still don't know if the texts go through, it has repeatedly required me to log back in even though I have the app, and then requires verification and authenticating each time. Where is the call log? Show me the phone number of caller! I have tried to change settings to allow this, but nothing is user friendly. I make a change, I lose something else I needed. I would rate this a big fat ZERO!
Overall: I think that has been make clear above. Overall experience? I curse out loud every day trying to use it.

Pros: I don't know where to start......oh yes, There are NO pros. ZERO....now on to the cons................
Cons: My smart line worked fine, nothing special but it did what was needed gave me a second line. Being forced to port over to "conversations" is a nightmare. Phone kinda works...not sure when a call come in but really who needs to be notified. Texts? what is that? can't send them so i don't if i receive any. Don't try working with "customer circus" (I meant customer service). I've spent over 10 hours trying to get this rectified to no avail. Even when on hold to talk to a rep the phone would hang up.
Overall: Quite possibly the worst customer experience ever. I'm currently looking for another option. Do NOT use this product. It is bad and the company doesn't seem to care. Go Daddy stock is currently trading around $102.00 on its highs.......I'm going short

Pros: I've been smartline with GoDaddy for years without a problem. But they've changed to Conversations and that's where the trouble started.
Cons: Can't get the text application approved.
Can't response to anyone's text.
Can't send a text.
Can't get an answer as to why my text application was rejected
no one knows what's going on.
If you use Text IN ANYWAY (I don't send out blasts. You need approval just to replay to a text that a person might send you at that number), you have to go through an elaborate application process of how you use it. I was okay with that, and the $19 fee for the application, but they don't approve you for text and they won't tell you why it's rejected. I've been on the phone with support for 5 DAYS! Every time it's something different on the reason why it was rejected and you can't actually talk to anyone who handles the application approval. Tech support is messaging a 3rd party and they can't get an answer.Overall: If I could give this a ZERO I would. I'm jumping ship and moving to another company. This was SO BAD THAT I'M ALSO CANCELLING ALL MY GoDaddy domains and accounts. I will never deal with them again.

Pros: Nothing. I was on the phone for four days trying to get it to work.
This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had.
I had just paid for three more years of smartline.Cons: The app does NOT work!
I just ported the number to my T mobile phone. It took 5 days. Now I can call , text, etc. The long nightmare is finally over.
So , just get a porting PIN from Go Daddy to port the number to your existing phone.Overall: If you had Smart line, this nightmare including the application to be accepted for texting being denied. $19 down the toilet.
