"Easy to use and reliable backup solution for diverse job needs" Edited 2021-01-27
Pros: In my work we currently implement Vembu for our customers, and Vembu has greatly improved the level of security for our consumers in general. It is fast, easy to use and has attributes that most exceptional backup solutions also have no major difficulties in using. We and our customers are very happy with Vembu.
Cons: After a vembu web server is synchronized with an online account and, for one reason or another, the administrator's requirements to synchronize the server with an additional online account, the administrator has only a few options. It uninstalls and reinstalls the product to change the web server id and synchronizes with an online account or has a technology support to manually transform it into the data source for them. The other option is not saved, so most of the time, administrators will certainly just uninstall and reinstall, which is often turbulent. The recovery of the vembu web server is complex and would also require an administrator in deep knowledge of how to recover the server.
Overall: Back-up strategy for small businesses when using NAS on premises with optional replication to another external storage space or to the cloud. Backup is very efficient and basic to use. Adding a NAS to the vembu web server is a simple procedure. My client receives a report that an effective backup has actually been completed, and this is extremely practical compared to the previous backup option, which has no management or alert alerts.
