Another of the features that I liked about this platform is the low consumption it has on computers, in another touch when configuring my WordPress system, the experience and I uploaded it from my computer is not affected at any time, In addition, when it comes to customizing my website and inserting new elements into my website in this editor, the experience on my computer is not affected either, for which reason, I have loved the fact that WordPress does not consume as much resources of the computer while the web page editing system works, this is innovative to be able to create a page without any kind of delay. + The best part of this platform is being able to host any website for free, obviously having limitations, however I consider that it is very complete in offering its hosting service and its web builder tool without any problem and for any type of business . + It has more templates than any website builder on the market. This is very useful for inexperienced people as it allows you to speed up the process by being able to choose a theme for your business website without so many complications. + Plugins are a good tool as they allow the site creator more freedom to do many things that are not available in the WordPress web editor. I recommend that you hire an expert on this subject since it is a delicate section and if you already have knowledge of plugins, be careful because there are drawbacks with this tool, but that would go into the negative aspects of this platform. + The control panel is very complete, there is nothing that cannot be controlled in a website when it is being created or managed. This is very useful as it allows you to customize every aspect of the site without running into walls that do not allow you to perform certain actions, but this is not the case with WordPress. + It has backup copies depending on the plan will be the frequency of the backup copies, this will be very useful for me because I had a problem with certain versions of my website which I was able to solve with the backup copies and leave everything as it was before of the problem occurring. Cons The first negative point is that Wordpress does not have any kind of way to reset the system when you want to start from scratch, there is no kind of configuration so that you can delete all your progress from the Wordpress account to start a site from scratch, this causes that if you want to start from scratch you have to install a Plugin to remove everything or remove everything manually. Another negative thing is that Wordpress is very complex to use, you have to learn a lot to use this tool correctly and not present bugs in the pages or templates that you install within Wordpress. The last negative point is that Wordpress does not allow multiple editing sessions, if you want to edit your website only you can do it at the same time, there will be no other participants editing the site. Customizability varies with themes, and no size fits all. Documentation does not apply to all themes, so library is hit or miss. Templates difficult to modify for working "outside of the box". User interface is geared to the novice, making it difficult to customize. * There is no safe way that WordPress can immediately detect the injection of malicious code to my website through plugins or templates, this makes any website that I want to create and that when I take shortcuts using plugins or templates has to wait up to a week doing tests so that both WordPress and myself can detect if the website has unwanted changes through some code that harms the website that I am creating. So, this makes me consider two possible paths, try different templates or plugins until I get something safe or simply do everything from scratch and have personal templates prepared to maintain the integrity and security of each website created. Also, this does not apply to me but to every individual or person who wants to use WordPress as a website editor. * The templates that this platform brings are too outdated and are not very functional, in addition to the way in which the templates are made it seems that they do not adapt to the web model that exists today, so a site can seem very obsolete web if you want to work based on the free templates that WordPress has. However, I was not able to achieve this goal because most of the themes I found to suit my website had plugins that hindered the performance of my company's website. So I had to build the website in parts and add similar features to other themes to have the ideal website for my company without compromising or corrupting anything. It looks better than much more expensive websites and is easy to customize. We were extremely impressed with the Yodify business model and onboarding experience. We'd been exploring various ways to improve our website and overall online experience but were not having any luck due to our niche needs as a distributor. After speaking with Riley and the team at Yodify, we were extremely impressed at what their company had to offer. Not only did their business model take into account our very specific requirements to begin displaying our products online, but the Yodify team additionally built out an entire product catalog for us at no additional cost. The functionality Yodify offers at the price point they charge is night and day from all of the other companies we touched base with who wanted to charge and arm and a leg for a product that did not completely fit our needs. The onboarding team was unbelievably responsive and has continued to provide support now that our website is up and running. It's an incredibly impressive product and we're thrilled with the end result. Yodify is very well thought out, comprehensive, and yet simplistic in the way that it is experienced by the user. From inventory volumes to specifications, pricing to discount levels, it has it all! On the business side of things, it provides an added feature to the service you can provide to a customer. Everything from an easily searchable inventory database to an always current online price sheet. One of my favorite features of the site is being able to build custom ordering templates for customers that tend to repeat orders. Cons Accessory products could be easier to add to your existing products. None that we can think of. Everything has been smooth so far and we're looking forward to seeing more and more visitors explore the new website. We had some issues with setting shipping rates, as we have a variety of sizes/weights of inventory that we are trying to move. But, a quick call to the technical team, and they provided an override option to allow us to set the rates ourselves. The ordering system doesn't sync with the bigger accounts ordering system which will deter them from using that section of the website. This doesn't take away from them being able to check inventory and pricing, however.
