Pros from Real Users Pros It's a reliable and effective timesheet software for an organization whose employee work from home. It tells what the employee is doing and also how much time they spent on certain tasks. Mobile platform is also available with data syncable option.		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Quick and easy to set up and start using it. It does everything I need it to. I found Clockodo whilst searching for a European alternative to the app I had been using previously. Clockodo exceeded my expectations. There were a couple of things I didn't think it could do (particularly some of the exportable reports), but the support was great and I was quickly shown how to get the reports I needed. (They were there, I just hadn't found them.) I really like the flexibility and options, while not being overly complicated. Also, the reports are easy to create. I can create a client and a task, and then there is a possibility to write notes about the task. It greatly helps me to understand where my time is spent. (1) that you can use it as an app on your phone AND as a desktop app on your laptop (2) easy and intuitive to use (3) interesting to see your patterns in terms of when and for how long you can usually work / what type of work you get done when (4) easy to keep an overview about your vacation days (especially if you work in another country and have different public holidays that apply to you) (5) great that you can adjust the daily hours you need to work (6) great that if you work on the weekend (or on a public holiday), that the program doesnt recognize it as a working day where you are supposed to work for 8 hours, which is of course not true. Thus, clockodo is smart enough to count 2 hours worked on the weekend and +2 hours worked (as opposed to -6 hrs worked). (7) easy to keep track on how many plus or minus hours you are working which (I think) is helpful to manage your emotions too. Because if you feel exhausted, working an hour more feels like 3 hours and and working an hour less feels just like 10 minutes less. Thus, once you see how much you have actually worked, you are less resentful and take more responsibility for your own energy level. But my lessons learned so far: it is impossible to really be productive for 8 hours every single day. I think the world is just deluding itself. Very easy to use. My team tracks every task and we generate our reporting for the clients at the end of each month within minutes. Cons It's possible to change the start time of a task whilst the timer is running by 'going back' a number of minutes, but it would be nice if I could just amend the actual start time, rather than trying to figure out how long beforehand the start was, if I forget to set the timer straight away. A very minor niggle and it's very easy to amend the times afterwards, when the task time has been stopped. At the very beginning, I could not grasp the overall idea how the software is supposed to work. But, as soon as I did, all went really smoothly. Initially I found it distracting that the desktop app would pop up after (I think it was) 10 minutes of inactivity, asking me whether I am taking a break. Especially during meetings this was annoying. But in the meantime I have figured out how to deactivate this function. Thus: now I am overall happy with it. I would like to get an Apple Watch app to track time without my smartphone :-)
