About Sharp Pencil is an AI-assisted commercial roofing takeoff service for contractors and estimators. Customers submit plan sets and specifications; the service analyzes the drawings to prepare measured quantities for low-slope systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen and built-up roofing, along with insulation, tapered assemblies, parapets, edge metal, drains, curbs and penetrations. A roofing professional reviews each takeoff before delivery in a workbook that references the source sheets and includes an open-questions (RFI) register. Delivery is usually within 48 hours. Depending on the project, deliverables may also include a material order list and a client-ready proposal when customers provide their costs. The service supports commercial new construction, reroofing, repairs and mixed-system roofs; it does not handle residential work. The first takeoff for a live bid is free; subsequent takeoffs are available per drawing set or through monthly plans.	About eTakeoff Dimension is a complete electronic viewer and PDF takeoff software solution for estimators across all construction disciplines. Basic is a free viewing, printing and takeoff tool. Its purpose is two-fold. First, it’s an excellent introduction to eTakeoff and provides simple measurement capabilities on its own. If you aren’t an estimator or only have simple takeoff needs, then Basic may be all you need. However, Basic is actually a powerful complement to our Advanced and Premier products. Basic is perfect as a free add-on for everyone else in your office who needs to view or print plans. eTakeoff combines the power of Togal.AI with SnapAI, our patented AI technology that enhances eTakeoff Dimension Premier with inherent AI capabilities. SnapAI enables point, logical line, and polyline selection, cutting electronic takeoff time in half by allowing an estimator to instantly grab corner points or entire line measurements instead of having to click on each end of the line.
