Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros We have used Scheduling Manager Gemini software from Thoughtful Systems for over 12 years now, for our residential cleaning business Before we started using Thoughtful’ s software, we relied on some paper and pen methods, also spreadsheets and data on customers in QuickBooks. When we first implemented Scheduling Manager Gemini software, we were pleased that the software could import all our customer information from QuickBooks. Since that time, we have maintained the link between Thoughtful Systems and QuickBooks, so all invoices and payments we create in Scheduling Manager Gemini are exported seamlessly to QuickBooks. Also, any new customers we enter into Gemini are transferred. From time to time, we have asked Thoughtful Systems for modifications to certain parts of the software, and they have been great at implementing what we want at reasonable rates. We have found the support staff to be helpful in promptly attending to any questions or issues that have occurred with the software. We like also that Thoughtful Systems adds new features from time to time -- their mobile app is great. Also, the text messaging features, which let us send reminders to all customers via text message each day. It makes job scheduling much more manageable -- a huge improvement over what we used to do more than 12 years ago, before we started using Scheduling Manager. Invoicing is made easy too. We can keep track of all info for our customers easily. Cons The only regret I have is that we didn’t start using this software sooner! I couldn't say I don't like something particular about Thoughtful Systems' software.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros This software provides an all in one management experience. Through it, we are able to schedule work, track progress, get real time updates and information, including messaging and photos. Forms can be created to streamline the process causing us less filing and paper issues for things like safety and maintenance reports. This software has saved us a lot of money and administrative time. With servicem8 you can manage simple or highly complex operations involving invoicing or store data management processes. In terms of field services servicem8 has tools to connect to databases within different clouds, either to manage electronic signatures or online invoicing requiring mobile or routing tools. The fact that the platform is very stable/future proof - due to the fact that it has been designed with iOS in mind! The simplicity of design also shines through, when it demonstrates that a sole trader to the MD of a multi branch business can pick up the APP with basic training and deliver massive efficiency savings - within busy organisations. Cons I can honestly say I do not have any complainants about this software so far. Within servicem8 we can annotate and prioritize all our work orders depending on which client we want to give more importance at the moment, and that is enough to not give servicem8 a negative review. We liked that the platform integrates so many tools for scheduling processes. The (sometimes) limiting functionality! With this in mind, the clear and transparent reason for ServiceM8’s existence is to remove inefficiency from modern service based businesses. If there is a better way of working, which improves the lot of its core market - they will listen and take all feedback into consideration when developing core product. There are also third party development companies that have and will develop Add-Ons and specific ‘tools’ if and when required.
