Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Some of the functions that work are great, like merging documents, editing and other things that you cant do with a just a reader. Interface very user friendly, easy installation and use. Very fast in getting the results after upload. I much prefer Soda for its ease of use and great features. Customer support has been pretty good so far. I have nothing to say but it has been a horrible experience dealing with this company. I regret ever using, if any, this software. The representative I dealt with was professional and most respectful. I very much appreciate her attitude and help in settling my billing questions. Cons Most of the functions that were supposed to be included with the premium version have never worked, and it is so hard to get to customer service it's almost not worth it. I tried it on several documents and the results were not satisfactory. I cancelled my account. Sadly there is one missing feature that is crucial to me that I can only get on ABBYY PDF software or I would only use Soda since I find ABBYY not easy to use. But I require an OCR reader that will read Hebrew and allow me to copy Hebrew into other documents without turning it to something strange. If you ever got this fixed, I would definitely be a totally loyal fan. Repeated issues with the software, poor customer support (none almost). Constantly re-installing the software, not working. After everything is settled I believe it was a simple matter of misunderstanding.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Absolutely love that SmallPDF is available through a web browser, meaning we do not need to download and install any software and that it is accessible anywhere we are regardless of which computer we are using. It has most the features we use for editing PDFs including inserting text and converting PDF files to Word, and it integrates nicely with Google Suite. The overall design and UX is also very slick and intuitive. The convenience of being able to convert to and from PDFs, along with a range of file manipulation options whenever I want, makes Smallpdf a no-brainer compared to the the huge expense and bloated nature of the market leader. It does exactly what I need it to do, 95% of the time, the balance is usually page "overflow" and not hard to rectify. How easy it is to use, and the price. Also, the style is beautiful. And you can compress the document right after editing and signing it. Cons Coming from someone who also uses Nitro Pro, SmallPDF is missing the feature to directly edit existing text and images on a PDF file while retaining original formatting. This means I have to occasionally revert back to Nitro Pro if I need to edit existing text and images on PDF files (as opposed to adding text or images to PDF files, which is what SmallPDF can do). The service could do with a custom option - there are tools I use all the time but there is no option to have shortcuts to these particular tools on the main menu. As a subscriber it would make sense to have that option rather than having to go through the whole list of tools to select the same thing each time. Conversion from pdf to jpg is not high resolution so the images do not stand up well on a web site. The Word to PDF conversion does not like "tight" pages and will overflow a two-page Word file into 3 pages of PDF, which can be frustrating but if you are aware of the problem then you can adjust the volume of copy accordingly to compensate. I would like to have more featured with editing my documents.
