About

Rambox is a digital workspace organizer that boosts productivity for professionals who use web apps frequently. It centralizes all your apps, making it easy to organize and access frequently used applications in one place. With over 700 pre-configured apps, including Gmail, WhatsApp, Facebook, iCloud, and more, you can instantly add them to your workspace. And if your app isn't listed, no problem - you can add any custom app in a few easy steps. Rambox synchronizes app configurations and can disable notifications across all devices in the user dashboard, automatically hibernating inactive apps to free up memory. Plus, users can apply CSS styling and JS code to improve each app's design and performance. Other features include: dark mode, do not disturb mode, spell checking, ad blocking, password management, notification management, and keyboard shortcuts.

About

Session is an end-to-end encrypted messenger that minimizes sensitive metadata, designed and built for people who want absolute privacy and freedom from any form of surveillance. Session accounts are completely anonymous. No phone number or email required. Session doesn’t collect data, so there’s nothing to leak. Send messages through our onion routing network and leave no trace. Session’s code has nothing to hide. Anyone can view, audit, and contribute. With no central point of failure, it’s harder to shut Session down. Talk to your friends or talk to the world. You decide. Closed groups let you talk to up to 20 friends at once, with the same encrypted protection as one-on-one chats. Got a bigger crowd? Use an open group to connect with as many people as you want. Sometimes, a text just isn’t enough. Voice messages let you send something a little more personal, so nothing gets lost in translation.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Rambox has been a game-changer for me in managing multiple apps with different profiles. With Rambox, I can organize all my apps in one place and access them without constantly logging in. One of the most significant advantages of using Rambox is that it significantly reduces the consumption of resources on my PC, making it faster and more efficient.
  • I have added a few extras to have everything in one spot and love that. No watermarks, no ads, no spam - it just does what it says and does that very well indeed.
  • -The thing about Rambox is that it is minimal and clean in nature. You don't get any preloaded unnecessary features. -With Rambox, you can add your own website to the system and is very good for internal apps. -The loading and reloading time of the webpages is meager, and it is very light on your system's storage because of the clean UI

Cons

  • I have yet to come across any major drawbacks with Rambox. I would only suggest the ability to open multiple screens of the same app within Rambox. Other than that, everything works seamlessly, and I am extremely satisfied with the product.
  • So far it is exceeding all my expectations and have no cons. They pushed an update with a bug related to Google (not them) and had it fixed within 12 hours with good communication.
  • After using Rambox for almost a year, I didn't encounter any major con as it provides what it claims.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I found session 2 years ago when it was just put out and was in love, no sign up or logs, top notch encryption and u can dump and create new accounts as quick and easy as pushing a button. Session is the future.
  • The range of features and the actual current demonstrated capabilities and omissions are grand. Open source is critically important and their protocol is based upon tried and true protocols from safe developers. It's a shame you can't trust their situation as an entity - as all of this can become irrelevant immediately in the blink of an eye under a number of plausible - likely, even - scenarios. This weakness must be addressed.
  • Free and open source. End-to-end encrypted messenger. Decentralized. Doesn't require phone number or email. No meta data tracking.
  • Decentralized. E2e encrypted. No email or number required. P2p v.soon. Faster than tor. Easy interface.

Cons

  • It was buggy, but they were working on it. I also noticed something, called sentinel? A file that someone was trying to send me, in the past I've ran into it and believe it's a form of spyware, probably just the person I was chatting with, but idk...
  • You won't find privacy from apps developed in Australia or by Australians. Period. This is very suspicious and what is secure today may be very quickly made insecure and revelatory retrospectively in one quick patch. Do not trust any company at the mercy of Australian lawmakers. Because even they have no say over the matter if push comes to shove.
  • Not really a con of the app but Session is not really popular.
  • Design is not so cool as compare to signal or others.
