Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros None. I found nothing useful in this product! I suggest you remove it from your site. It's a trap just a trap I like that I can convert multiple files into one file so several pages can all be printed with one command. I publish a small newsletter that originates as a word document. Saving it as a PDF before printing (after all the rewrites and corrections have been made) prevents any errors from being made with erroneous keystrokes when printing. I once had several hundred copies print with an error before I started making the final proof available as a PDF. Convenient, simple, excellent files. Everything works great. I basically use it to store all my documents in PDF format especially documents that I don't want to be changed. You must have it, all necessary PDF tools. There are shortcuts with the right mouse button, and many options to save the pdf file. Cons Trap ! pretend to be free when it's absolutely not ! It is a little inconvenient to go back to a word doc (or other working program) to make corrections. But that is the price I must pay in order to insure that the final copy stays unchanged while printing. Won't let me print locked pdf files. Not really much to complain about, except maybe the pricing, but that is not really an issue. No cons, I'm using for few hours and nothing wrong until now.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Absolutely love that SmallPDF is available through a web browser, meaning we do not need to download and install any software and that it is accessible anywhere we are regardless of which computer we are using. It has most the features we use for editing PDFs including inserting text and converting PDF files to Word, and it integrates nicely with Google Suite. The overall design and UX is also very slick and intuitive. The convenience of being able to convert to and from PDFs, along with a range of file manipulation options whenever I want, makes Smallpdf a no-brainer compared to the the huge expense and bloated nature of the market leader. It does exactly what I need it to do, 95% of the time, the balance is usually page "overflow" and not hard to rectify. How easy it is to use, and the price. Also, the style is beautiful. And you can compress the document right after editing and signing it. Cons Coming from someone who also uses Nitro Pro, SmallPDF is missing the feature to directly edit existing text and images on a PDF file while retaining original formatting. This means I have to occasionally revert back to Nitro Pro if I need to edit existing text and images on PDF files (as opposed to adding text or images to PDF files, which is what SmallPDF can do). The service could do with a custom option - there are tools I use all the time but there is no option to have shortcuts to these particular tools on the main menu. As a subscriber it would make sense to have that option rather than having to go through the whole list of tools to select the same thing each time. Conversion from pdf to jpg is not high resolution so the images do not stand up well on a web site. The Word to PDF conversion does not like "tight" pages and will overflow a two-page Word file into 3 pages of PDF, which can be frustrating but if you are aware of the problem then you can adjust the volume of copy accordingly to compensate. I would like to have more featured with editing my documents.
