Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like how flexible Notion is. I can keep project notes, tasks, documentation, and other information in one place. The ability to customize pages and databases also makes it easy to adapt Notion to different workflows. Notion ended up replacing a bunch of different tools I was bouncing between for notes, tasks, project planning, and random ideas. Having everything in one place makes it way easier to stay organized, especially when work gets hectic. The thing I like most is how flexible it is. You can build pages however you want, create databases, track projects, save documentation, or just use it as a giant digital notebook. It feels like you can make it fit almost any workflow. Notion is a very flexible platform that aims to be able to do almost anything as it relates to collaboration and managing the day to day activities of your team. We originally liked the fact that it offered this all in one approach and would help keep things centralized. It is also easy to use with drag and drop functionality the core to basically every aspect of the product. Flexible workspace allows managing notes, tasks, docs & project. Intuitive editing & toggling with toggleable views. Notion, a versatile all in one workspace, presents several advantages for users seeking a flexible & collaborative digital environment. Its block based structure offers a modular & customizable approach to content creation. Cons The learning curve can be a little steep at first, especially when working with databases, relations, and more advanced features. When you're first getting started, it can feel like a lot. There are so many options that it's easy to spend more time setting things up than actually using them. I've also noticed that larger pages can get a little slow sometimes. For our team the flexibility ended up being a bit of a downfall. We ended up with so many different pages and areas of the app where people were adding or creating content or tasks. In the end we decided to pair it all back and now use Notion for SoPs and as a wiki only. A very steep learning curve for complex workspaces & databases. Lacks advanced permissions for secure collaboration. The abundance of features initially overwhelm a new user, People may need to take a basic training in order to explore full potential of Notion from start.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I love how simple it is to use it and that I can use it on my work computer, personal computer or on my phone. I easily and quickly note all the information I need to review, remember, or reference. I like the basic premise of infinitely embedded bullet points. The interface is fast and easy to use. Backlinks and mirrors to notes somewhere else in the system were a game changer that let me get a lot more out of the tool. I also love that I can sort by hashtag and that you can toggle completed bullets on and off. Really easy to use, really fast, and has been increasing in what it can do over the years. I use it for all my main notes, lists, projects, etc. - Minimalism - Infinite depth - Text-centred approach - No distractions - The way it allows users to laser-focus on a particular node - Reliability - My document is very large, and the app handles it perfectly - It's very good for software developers, musicians, writers, scientists, entrepreneurs and other creative people Simple yet powerful, with unbeatable ease of use. Nothing else is needed to manage your tasks or archive your knowledge. Cons Occasionally the search bar doesn't allow you to enter a space between words, but a refresh of the page fixes this. Other than that, it works great! Since I’ve been a user for a long time and haven’t kept up with the updates I don’t know if I’m getting everything I could out of the tool. The iphone interface makes it a little bit difficult to drag and drop bullets and I don’t think you can multi select on the phone, so I tend to use the phone to take notes and addd info but the desktop app or webpage to organize things. I worry sometimes that the app is starting to move too much in the direction of Notion or others and will sacrifice speed and ease of use by doing so. But still great so far! The mobile version is a bit less convenient. But it's a minor issue. I can't find any, I've been using the tool for 8 years almost daily and I'm totally satisfied.
