About

Nodejam is an AI-native office productivity and document platform that blends text, spreadsheets, and slides into a single unified workspace with intelligent workflows instead of keeping them in separate apps. It lets users create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in one environment, import and export common formats like DOCX, PDF, PPTX, CSV, and leverage natural-language commands powered by AI to coordinate edits, automate tasks, and generate content across mixed file types. Rather than just traditional editing tools, Nodejam provides visual workflow organization that shows how content connects and flows, helping teams maintain context and see relationships between parts of a project, and supports agentic AI tools that can understand entire multi-document workflows to speed work. It aims to eliminate switching between Word, Excel, and PowerPoint by unifying files in a universal format (.ndjm) with cross-document workflows.

About

WordPad is a basic text-editing app you can use to create and edit files, include text with different fonts and colors, insert pictures, and add links to other files. You can use WordPad to open and save text files (.txt), rich text files (.rtf), Word documents (.docx), and OpenDocument text files (.odt). Files in other formats will open as plain text files and might not appear as expected. Some features, like headers, footers, and annotations, aren’t supported in WordPad. If you open a file with these features and then save the file in WordPad, you’ll lose the content in these features. If you want to change such a file, but don’t want to lose the original content, tap or click Save as and save the file with a different name. That way you can make changes to a copy of the file while keeping the content in the original file intact. For more info about what each button does, press and hold the button for a description (or if you’re using a mouse, point to the button).

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It has unified all of the tools i use into one that i can easily edit with just conversation in a ai chat.

Cons

  • It was just hard to find it. I havent heard many people talk about it yet and it still seems to be early production.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It comes free with windows and is perfect for just writing something down or taking notes. It also seems to really be meant for writing (without printing) since it doesn't format into A4 papers.
  • Nothing. There are no pros.
  • Came with my new computer, so I didn't have to pay for it. I only needed to occasionally type a letter or a document, and it serves my purpose for that.

Cons

  • It doesn't have all the features of word and most annoying it doesn't show the shortcuts for the features. Still don't know how to increase/decrease the indent without needing to stop typing and click the button.
  • There isn't anything to like about WordPad. Nothing is good so everything is bad. I cannot figure out how to use it so isn't that a con enough. We were conned into getting this feature when there was an updated to Windows 11. Thank you very little!
  • I have been unable to find out how to type an address on an envelope! Doesn't do me a lot of good to type a business letter when I can't type an official looking envelope for it! Needs a source to search for information with "How To" instructions!
