Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Great collaboration and communication features. It also makes it easy to communicate with any other email server
  • It is very easy to use, and incase, you are stuck somewhere, they also have blogs detailing the entire encryption process. I have purchased the base plan for now, but I think I will stick to Mailfence service.
  • The user friendly interface made setting up my account, a smooth experience. Mailfence offers a wide range of features and creates a cohesive workspace, which is a major advantage.
  • Easy to use and has great security features. Has many useful tools like documents, messages and calendars.
  • Provide end to end encryption and other great security features. Easy to create an account and features are easy and nice to use.

Cons

  • As of right now, I don't have anything to complain
  • The mobile app does not support all the features that the desktop interface has, but it is still good enough.
  • Some features are currently missing from the mobile app.
  • Overall design of the main menu could be improved.
  • Interface is a bit plain. Fonts and size of text could be improved. Sharing documents outside the tool is difficult.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Secure, easy to use - good clean interface. Ability to add a custom domain. Privacy and end to end encryption.
  • Tutanota is a privacy based email system. Free accounts come with 1gb, the largest of any comparable free service. Emails can be set with a password and be temporary. Also included is a contacts service and calendar service all in one.
  • Tutanota allows you to keep your emails more private by encrypting them, along with a password you can give to the person you're sending the email to. You can choose whether you want to send an encrypted email or not. Tutanota can be access via browser, desktop, or mobile. It comes with a light and a dark theme. You can have several aliases if you pay. Multiple plan options are available.

Cons

  • Non Existent Customer Support. No way to contact the company is given on their website - Just FAQ's that I do need the answers to.
  • The web app works way better than the mobile device app. Con mobile, I cant even print an email or save it as a pdf. Free accounts can only use 1 color for labeling.
  • Mobile apps needs work. It just doesn't run as smoothly as other email apps. You have to download each file you receive individually no matter what way you access your mail. I don't see why I can have an option to download all files at once. Since it's new and more secure, you'll find many services won't accept it as a valid email either. There's a lot of issues around aliases once you pass the 5 you get from paying. The system definitely screws you over if you want to get rid of one. You may end up having to pay even more just to get more aliases and even though you already tossed one of them. This really shouldn't be at all and is ridiculous.
