Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros * Local offline stored notes: fast and private * Minimalist approach: suited for ADHD people * Flashcards incorporated: Excellent for students and self-learners * Excellent community: Check out the official Discord! Logseq is one of the best tools I've used. I'm a meticulous notetaker who, prior to discovering the Zettlekasten method, had been focused primarily on notetaking apps and outliners. I had been a 5-year devotee of Checkvist, which I consider an outliner in its own category for its keyboard-driven (think Vim) nature. However, there were things it was missing. (And, in fairness, things it did better!) I had a stronger use case for personal knowledge management (PKM) than GTD to-do management. Logseq felt like a better fit for my PKM usage, especially with its incredible linking/backlinking superpowers. The daily journal is a great feature. It provides a single daily inbox for brain dumps where by way of tagged links everything remains findable and in its place. I am also fond of its org-mode TODOs. And finally, it's plain text, local-first orientation (https://www.inkandswitch.com/local-first/) is the cherry on top of the sundae. I like that every topical page is just a Markdown file in the file system because this permits everything to come under git version control. Cons * There are little things that need to be polished, for example, an option to hide the properties of a page. Coming from Checkvist, which I consider spectacular in its design, I miss its sublime keyboard-driven experience. While Logseq is functional (and keyboard-driven) the editing/navigating experience isn't on par with Checkvist.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like how flexible Notion is. I can keep project notes, tasks, documentation, and other information in one place. The ability to customize pages and databases also makes it easy to adapt Notion to different workflows. Notion ended up replacing a bunch of different tools I was bouncing between for notes, tasks, project planning, and random ideas. Having everything in one place makes it way easier to stay organized, especially when work gets hectic. The thing I like most is how flexible it is. You can build pages however you want, create databases, track projects, save documentation, or just use it as a giant digital notebook. It feels like you can make it fit almost any workflow. Notion is a very flexible platform that aims to be able to do almost anything as it relates to collaboration and managing the day to day activities of your team. We originally liked the fact that it offered this all in one approach and would help keep things centralized. It is also easy to use with drag and drop functionality the core to basically every aspect of the product. Flexible workspace allows managing notes, tasks, docs & project. Intuitive editing & toggling with toggleable views. Notion, a versatile all in one workspace, presents several advantages for users seeking a flexible & collaborative digital environment. Its block based structure offers a modular & customizable approach to content creation. Cons The learning curve can be a little steep at first, especially when working with databases, relations, and more advanced features. When you're first getting started, it can feel like a lot. There are so many options that it's easy to spend more time setting things up than actually using them. I've also noticed that larger pages can get a little slow sometimes. For our team the flexibility ended up being a bit of a downfall. We ended up with so many different pages and areas of the app where people were adding or creating content or tasks. In the end we decided to pair it all back and now use Notion for SoPs and as a wiki only. A very steep learning curve for complex workspaces & databases. Lacks advanced permissions for secure collaboration. The abundance of features initially overwhelm a new user, People may need to take a basic training in order to explore full potential of Notion from start.
