About

LibreDB Studio is an open-source database IDE that runs on infrastructure you control and provides a browser-based workspace, with platform-specific local installation options. It supports connections to a range of relational, document, key-value, and analytics databases. Database professionals can browse schemas and objects, write and run queries, inspect execution plans, compare schemas, and view relationships in ER diagrams. The workspace also includes query history and audit records, session and query monitoring, role-based access controls, and OpenID Connect single sign-on. Designed for developers, data engineers, and database administrators, Studio can be deployed near the databases it accesses, keeping connections within a private network. The self-hosted software is available under the MIT license.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • None just a bad app all round. Nothing works correctly on any part of the application. What a waste of time downloading it.

Cons

  • App cant even successfully connect to a direct or predefined ODBC in x32 or x64 without throwing a generic error and crashing out. Developer needs tyo re-think his code, one worst apps ever seen. Will go back to SQLMetal.
