About

JAMS Incident Management makes sure the right person knows when something breaks, then keeps escalating through voice, SMS, push, email, Microsoft Teams, and Slack until someone acknowledges it. Alerts can come from monitoring tools, email, webhooks, or the API, so it works with any team and any stack. Where most alerting tools stop at notifying, this one can also act: a responder can restart, continue, or cancel a failed job directly from the alert, and acknowledging it updates the source system automatically, so nothing gets tracked twice. JAMS Scheduler is not required, but a failed job can open an incident automatically for teams that use it. On-call gaps are expensive because they compound quietly: a missed alert becomes a longer outage, and a longer outage becomes lost trust. The reason to look at this now is the gap between detecting a problem and getting a human to fix it, which is exactly where most incidents actually go wrong.

About

Xitoring is an all-in-one monitoring platform for servers, websites, and status pages. One command installs the Xitogent agent (curl on Linux, MSI on Windows), auto-discovering 30+ services: Nginx, Apache, IIS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and more. Monitor CPU, memory, disk I/O, network, and processes, plus uptime checks (HTTP(S), Ping, DNS, TCP, UDP, API, Mail, Heartbeat, Cron) at 1-minute intervals from 15+ global probing nodes. SSL monitoring included. Alerts via 20+ channels: email, SMS, phone call, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, webhooks, and more. Built-in AIOps answers plain-English questions about your metrics and incidents. The Xitoring MCP server lets Claude, Cursor, or any AI agent read metrics, ack alerts, and manage monitors. Plus white-label status pages, incident management, REST API, and iOS/Android apps. Free forever: 2 servers + 8 uptime checks. Paid from $4.99/mo, flat pricing, 30-day trial.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • - The ability to easy integrate with a wide range of server types (Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Docker, Netstat). - The ability of improvements in handling heavy loads on MySQL servers indicates a tangible benefit in terms of performance optimization. - Having great support team, who helped us to configure the integrations of our servers during setup.
  • Easy to add multiple websites and servers at once. Nice status page, it is customizable and whitelabel, which is important for me and my team. Really handy documentation for adding notification channels. Having WhatsApp and SMS notification channel which is important for me and my team as well.
  • I really like their integration with Apache and MySql. I am having 5 web servers and always I had to login to each of them and make sure everything is working and fine, after using Xitoring I am able to monitor those services from their application. Even the status page is amazing.

Cons

  • Currently I do not have any dislikes about this project, I have sent some features requests, and will await to see how fast they are getting deployed :)
  • The only part I dislike is why I did not find them earlier and spent a bunch of money to other applications. They have great support which make the feature request happen! That is great.
  • I can not say anything I don't like with Xitoring, however I would like to have ability to monitor tcp and udp ports as well. It is yet not possible with them :(
