Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • There's an enthusiasm about this team who seem to value innovation, in stark contrast to other companies that can be business-as-usual and lack personable communication.

Cons

  • What began as high hopes for this platform making its debut in the US is now utter disappointed. I tried in earnest to stay flexible the first time I utilized the new software. We both put our best foot forward to think through ways to uplift this new innovative tool. As I tried it again, I was directly invoiced from this platform via Swipe which is typically assumed as a single purchase (invoice #B6F290CA-0010, receipt #2078-9458). I didn't access the payment portal through their platform because it was buggy. With a functional experience, I'd have otherwise had the opportunity. To my surprise, I was charged for a new month after I specifically said I was trying it for a single month to A/B test on a new project. Additionally, I was told this organization would look up journalists listed on their site with no email address and they didn't. This isn't the way to make friends in this market IR.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It's easy to use in terms of writing press releases and pitches, great to manage contacts, and the tech support is wonderful.
  • No learning curve. Powerful tool for contact management, coverage tracking, press release generation, press info publishing and more. Simple, intuitive interface. Fantastic, responsive staff.
  • Very kind team and constantly upgrading the platform. Also, my client said that the name would fit a pet.
  • The ability to have media contacts, relationship history, coverage, press releases, pitches and related activity all on one simply platform. This allows for great visibility into what's working, and across teams.
  • PR is all about contacts primarily. The contact management system is GDPR friendly and works well. It is clear that the development of the software has been achieved with the help of users who also contribute to the regular online seminars. The story telling features are so multi media friendly too. Taking the strain off bloggers, influencers and journalists, this platform provides them with a whole package of words, pictures, videos, audio. Imagine if you had to email or use a bulk server to do that. You would lose your brand reputation by confusing the very people you are trying to impress.

Cons

  • I wish they could provide better tracking of which contacts clicked through to links in the pitches or press release but they did tell me they are working on that.
  • Prezly could use more reporting tools to reduce reliance on things like CoverageBook.
  • Sometimes its slow and takes some time to load features.
  • There could be more automation when it comes to contacts and campaign sendouts. In addition, I wish pitches could be more personalized.
  • None. If anything is missing, the company will listen and add.
