Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I needed a cost-effective product that could allow me to enter data for my clients and bill them every month and Gym Insight fit all of my requirements. After having meaningful conversations about how simple it was and how I could save some money it was a no-brain. One of the features I liked was the door feature, which I haven't used yet, I liked how it would let me know who comes in and out of my facility since it is a 24/7 gym. Another feature I liked was all of the different reports I could look up from Financial reports to who has Access reports and the list goes on. Customer service is super friendly and helpful! The simple user interface makes it really easy to use. The payment processing and check-in features are amazing, and it's easy to update members. Comprehensive all-in-one tool for managing gyms, easy to learn and use. Most importantly, it provides key insights into performance metrics like membership growth, revenue trends, and class attendance: things that gym owners need in order to make data-driven decisions, identify areas for improvement, measure and capitalize on success, and stay in business. The wealth of knowledge they shared with me to enhance my gym management skills was an added bonus. I love Gym Insight! It has made managing my gym a breeze. One of the best things is how easy it is to use. Members can easily sign up online, which saves me a ton of time. The digital keycards are also a great feature, makes it convenient for members to access the gym. The support from the Gym Insight team has been outstanding. They are always there to help and answer any questions I have. The staff is truly awesome and goes above and beyond. It’s been a smooth experience. I am very happy with the customer support. They always answer my questions quickly. The software itself has many advantages, too. It meets all my needs, works well, and makes training new employees easier than other software I've used before. Cons I guess the only thing I didn't like was having to check through a third party every week to make sure that the payment went through when using ACH Accounts even though it shows it is confirmed on Gym Insight. I guess its nothing wrong with one more step :0) None. It’s really great! I found this very useful. I haven’t had any issues. It is working fine for me. In terms of drawbacks, there's honestly not much that I don't like about Gym Insight. However, it would be nice to have more options to customize reports on my own. Nothing to report, it really meets all my needs. A while ago there was a report that they didn’t have that I wanted, but I submitted a request and they added it! Theses features allow for the seamless coordination of activities and business functions. We also coordinate with our accountant to use the reports feature periodically. Setup and training was a breeze! Tool is EXTREMELY easy to use! I am Doing MORE with LESS overhead!! Super friendly service and staff, and on top of that super reliable. The site is never down (not something that can be said about their competitors). Kicksite gives us easy-to-use tools for tracking student progress toward their next belt, allowing students to have greater control over their billing (like not having to bother us to update a credit card), having a video library of instructional material for self-study at home (or when a lockdown is in effect), and reliable data for our finances and future projections. Cons Recurring billing deactivates after 3 tries. We would like the ability to create custom reports to search for lists such as students by belt, income by sale type: tuition, testing, item sales. If this feature exists we have not discovered it yet. We are quite busy, but that is the point of all the awesome features included that we effectively use. The smooth operating of these features takes a lot of pressure off of us for running the business. Need 2 way text, it is on the roadmap, just not soon enough. We don’t really have cons. It would be great if we could check in students through their name instead of a membership number (sometimes new students forget their number). There's some features we would like to see. Fortunately, Kicksite is responsive to these requests. For example, we would like the inventory tracking ability to be more robust (like being able to track clothing sizes instead of just a total number of items in a category). We would also like belt testing events to pull information "live" from a student's profile to make correcting promotion mistakes faster. But these are details and Kicksite staff have acknowledged and are working on.
