PBRS (Power BI Report Scheduler) by ChristianSteven Software automates report scheduling, export, personalization and delivery across Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, Power BI Paginated Reports and Microsoft SSRS. Designed for BI teams, IT departments and organizations with recurring reporting obligations, PBRS replaces repetitive exports and separately maintained delivery workflows with a centrally managed Windows application. Schedule reports hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, use custom business calendars, or trigger workflows from supported database, file, email and system events. Refresh Power BI datasets and wait for completion before generating and distributing reports. Use data-driven (Dynamic) scheduling and report bursting to produce different outputs for each customer, department, location or recipient. Database or JSON data can determine reports, filters, parameters, recipients, formats, filenames and delivery messages. Export reports and visual data to supported formats, including PDF, Excel and CSV. Create formatted or template-based Excel outputs, combine applicable outputs into multi-tab workbooks, and assemble multiple reports into one email, ZIP file or bookmarked PDF. Protect PDF outputs with passwords and encryption. Deliver reports to internal and external recipients through email, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, FTP, SFTP, network folders, Slack and printers. Recipients can receive exported files without needing Power BI access. Manage reporting operations with execution history, notifications, configured retries and blank-report handling. PBRS brings report generation, packaging and distribution into one workflow for organizations whose needs extend beyond straightforward subscriptions or individual Power Automate flows. Developers can use the PBRS REST API to manage supported schedules, trigger workflows and monitor execution, integrating report automation into business applications and customer portals. PBRS is installed in your Windows environment. It is suited to businesses that need controlled, repeatable report delivery across multiple recipients, formats and destinations.
