So for me its design is very polished that can be used by people of all ages who want to keep their company's accounts. + You can import the data of the movements of different banks allowing the ease of being able to keep a clear accounting by being able to have exact data of the movements of business bank accounts. This was very intuitive to me since I don't have to import the data by manually typing it one by one, but simply adapt the exported data provided by the bank and pass it to QuickBooks as if it were a database. + The accounting books are very complete and it speeds up the process by not having to manage everything manually within other platforms such as Excel (although with Excel some programming can be done to automate everything, it requires more training or spreadsheet experts to perform this). So with this platform it is easier to create accounting books and I have the ability to add as many fields as I need for the manual entry of income and expenses of my company, this in case there is no way to automatically integrate an accounting movement that is do within my company + The online support chat provides quick answers to any questions or problems you may have. I have gone through several circumstances in which I did not understand a function very well or did not know the availability of a specific function which I needed to integrate into my company's accounting. So with the help of the QuickBooks live chat I was able to solve these and more doubts that I had in the course of using this platform since it is difficult to fully understand how to use it. + You can create presentations in any period of time, from biweekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. That is very useful since I can determine the date with a few clicks without having to do all the work manually and in parts, but everything is done automatically just by choosing the desired term. Quickbooks Online provides a distinguished way to do all our accounting and budgeting for our business. It has a system that is very complete and full of smart tools that when combined, make for a hugely helpful software that carries all of my financial tasks. -One of my favorite aspects of Quickbooks is how fast we can complete our bank reconciliation every month, providing thoughtful analysis about where our money goes and allowing us to make smart decisions regarding our finances and our business’ future. It’s very easy to prepare our reports every month and customize them to include the most information possible such as income statements and purchase orders, and choose between single-entry or double-entry systems. -Additionally, Quickbooks has the power to organize all our taxes for us and manage all our tax data for when the tax season comes, and notify us when they’re ready. I like this area of Quickbooks and I find that it’s the most powerful feature as it lets us streamline all our tax processes and has an accurate automated system that studies our data and helps me sort our finances by quarter or yearly methods, providing a strong system that is based on security and support, saving us as much time as possible with its different tools to calculate different finances. -Quickbooks’ customer support has been very helpful in providing the assistance that we have needed during our training period with the software, and to this day, they have been extremely responsive and have solved any question and doubt that we’ve had, making it such a wonderful service and experience for us and improving our view of the solution in general. -Integration with many third-party applications make the experience of using Quickbooks even better, as it improves our workflow and synchronizes our data with other financial and project management tools, eliminating the process of having to manually import or export data into Quickbooks or other apps. -Finally, I like that this software is hosted on the cloud and can access it anywhere I am and on any device, which is a huge benefit for me as I am sometimes on the go, and being able to access my business’ accounting solution is a huge deal for me. I also find that because it is hosted on the cloud, Quickbooks provides higher security levels and a low risk of lost or stolen information, and that used to be a great worry for me as no one wants their information suddenly lost/stolen, but Quickbooks maintains all our data encrypted and safe. Cons I'm yet to experience any glitches with QuickBooks Online since it works smoothly. I don't have have anything to complain because it's a simple, fast and affordable accounting software. I haven't experienced shortcomings with QuickBooks Online because it suits my accounting needs. - The mobile application regardless of the OS has limitations which prevents seeing certain things and also limits the ability to add certain things when keeping accounts. It looks like a statement summary which can not do much. For me, practicality is very important and I like that the platforms that I use can be managed both via desktop, web and mobile application without any limits. Thus, it also allows portability by not needing to be inside the desk to be able to use QuickBooks, but with the simple fact of having a tablet or smartphone, you can already access all the functionalities of this platform. - Employees are needed with training both in accounting, as well as in the correct handling of this platform, since mistakes can be made that are detrimental to your company. I recommend this since I had a bad experience implementing this platform within my company without adequate training and after a long and arduous testing period there were errors with the numbers which were not correct due to the lack of certain inputs and outputs of the accounting of my company. So if you want everything to be well registered, I recommend taking training courses to understand this platform well. - I do not understand how to classify and accept transactions through various deposits, it is a bit of a mess that is formed with the records of transactions within this platform. You should be able to associate payments in parts or in different deposits in order to facilitate accounting when you are going to make payments and you want to keep track of an expense or receipt of funds within the company. - The prices are increasing excessively since I acquired the services of this platform. I have had to reconsider the expenses of my company to be able to adjust the expenses that are made with QuickBooks, I understand that they are progressively improving, but the increase in costs rises faster in relation to the improvements that are made to this platform. I feel like even though Quickbooks has amazing tools and it’s a great platform overall, it still lacks in terms of user-friendliness and user guides to help users settle in with the software and finish implementation successfully. We struggled a bit with this software because the amount of tools were so overwhelming and I felt like it didn’t provide enough tutorials for me to understand how it works, but thankfully, once we contacted the customer support and were put in contact with an expert, they were very happy to help us through every step of our implementation with Quickbooks, which was honestly amazing and it’s one of the reasons we chose to stay with Quickbooks as our main accounting solution for our business. Also, as I appreciate the level of security and high quality encryption that Quickbooks has, I do find it a bit annoying the level of security that there is to access our finances every single time, as I am requested one-time passwords and it takes more time to access our finances, but it’s just a small dislike that is compensated with the rest of the software tools that I do enjoy using.
