Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • The only real pro of CyberPanel is its OpenLiteSpeed integration, which can provide decent performance, but even this is overshadowed by the sheer number of issues that make the panel frustrating and unreliable.
  • - great free CPANEL - good subdomain customization - backup options -easy to use interface - easily accessible website lists

Cons

  • CyberPanel comes with a long list of cons that make it a poor choice for server management. The WordPress installer is buggy and constantly throws errors, requiring manual fixes that completely defeat the purpose of a β€œ1-click” solution. SSL automation is unreliable, with certificates frequently failing validation and offering no helpful feedback for troubleshooting. Backups, a critical feature for any hosting panel, are inconsistent at bestβ€”restores often fail or result in incomplete data. The email management system is equally disappointing, with ineffective spam filters and a complex DKIM/DMARC setup process that feels unnecessarily difficult. Security is another major concern, as CyberPanel has known vulnerabilities and unstable configurations that make it unsafe for hosting critical data. The interface itself is clunky and outdated, often requiring users to resort to terminal commands for tasks that should be straightforward. Customer support is abysmal, with slow, generic responses that fail to address actual issues, even for those on premium plans. Adding insult to injury, their refund policy is unfair and rigid, denying refunds during their advertised trial period over trivial reasons like using a coupon code.
  • -Bad premium services - no response even if something is clearly wrong

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Most of the time I use the file manager (when migrating websites to CMS) and the shell console. Well, the dashboard with basic information about the account helps to assess the situation immediately. Also, I want to mention that Docker with different versions of mysql is a great thing. Very useful for me personally. Since my websites are adjusted for mysql 5.7 and on it they work much faster, since there is caching. Not so in the case of version 8, where the websites are slowing down. And this way both are installed and work well together. Cpanel never offered different versions of mysql, which was very stressful.
  • - Great user-friendly interface. It's intuitive and easy to understand. - Docker support - Very lightweight, does not require huge server resources. - The functionality is extended by additional modules. - OpenLiteSpeed support.
  • + It's really easy to use. You don't need any special DevOps knowledge to work with ISPmanager + Friendly interface + Cheap

Cons

  • I don't like the lack of security for corporate email. Few settings little protection. Can only be used for basic tasks.
  • - The number of available modules could be more. - missing the Spanish and German localization out of the box.
  • - Support could be a bit faster. Despite good documentation you have to wait for an hour before a manager come to your ticket.
