About

FASTPANEL is a server control panel built to make managing a server easier, with website creation in a few clicks, an easy-to-use interface, access-right settings, real-time server load statistics, multilingual support, comprehensive documentation, and no vendor lock-in. It is designed to help users create sites, set up email accounts and backup plans, install SSL certificates, manage domains, databases, users, firewall settings, applications, PHP, services, access, and server monitoring from one panel. The Site Creation Wizard guides the whole process through domain connection, backend and database setup, and backup setup. Users can create a CMS-based site with WordPress in just a few clicks, build a PHP website or application, deploy a modern Node.js application, create a reverse proxy site, run websites and services through systemd units, or publish a blank static website with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Honestly, I cannot identify anything positive from my experience that would outweigh the problems I encountered. The idea of a free, open-source alternative to cPanel is appealing, but my actual experience with CyberPanel's software, paid add-ons, billing, and support was extremely poor.
  • The only real pro of CyberPanel is its OpenLiteSpeed integration, which can provide decent performance, but even this is overshadowed by the sheer number of issues that make the panel frustrating and unreliable.
  • - great free CPANEL - good subdomain customization - backup options -easy to use interface - easily accessible website lists

Cons

  • The biggest problem is the way CyberPanel handles paid subscriptions, billing, and cancellations. I had an "All Addons" subscription for $59 per year that I no longer used. I repeatedly requested that it be cancelled. CyberPanel nevertheless charged my card $59 on July 17, 2025 and another $59 on July 17, 2026. After extensive back-and-forth, CyberPanel support finally investigated and confirmed in writing that both charges existed, neither had been refunded, and the subscription was still active. Even more concerning, they confirmed that the license had become detached from my account. That meant the service I was being charged for did not even appear in my dashboard. CyberPanel also admitted that there was no self-service option for customers to cancel this type of addon subscription. I therefore had a recurring paid subscription that I could not see in my account and could not cancel myself. I repeatedly instructed support to cancel it. Instead, multiple representatives told me they could not perform the cancellation and had to forward it to billing or administration. They could not provide a timeline for when the cancellation would actually occur. Their support records also showed an earlier December 2025 conversation involving cancellation and a refund, yet I was charged again in July 2026. Beyond my billing experience, I would also encourage anyone considering CyberPanel to research its security history, software reliability complaints, and customer support record before deploying it on an important production server.
  • CyberPanel comes with a long list of cons that make it a poor choice for server management. The WordPress installer is buggy and constantly throws errors, requiring manual fixes that completely defeat the purpose of a “1-click” solution. SSL automation is unreliable, with certificates frequently failing validation and offering no helpful feedback for troubleshooting. Backups, a critical feature for any hosting panel, are inconsistent at best—restores often fail or result in incomplete data. The email management system is equally disappointing, with ineffective spam filters and a complex DKIM/DMARC setup process that feels unnecessarily difficult. Security is another major concern, as CyberPanel has known vulnerabilities and unstable configurations that make it unsafe for hosting critical data. The interface itself is clunky and outdated, often requiring users to resort to terminal commands for tasks that should be straightforward. Customer support is abysmal, with slow, generic responses that fail to address actual issues, even for those on premium plans. Adding insult to injury, their refund policy is unfair and rigid, denying refunds during their advertised trial period over trivial reasons like using a coupon code.
  • -Bad premium services - no response even if something is clearly wrong
