Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros From an analytics standpoint, this is great. The software automatically collects a large amount of data for you to work with and analyze. In addition, the version of the app given to BT's (data sheets only) is extremely simple and easy to use. Cons Everything else. When a software can do so much for so many roles, inevitably you end up with a lot of fat which could be trimmed off and common sense design mistakes which went overlooked. Steep learning curve with many steps for adding appointments. For example, scheduling pages must be refreshed several times before they show changes. Additionally, there are several superfluous places in which one must edit goals or activate authorizations before the system accepts the change.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Amazing support. I always get my questions answered and they always figure out a way to execute the vision I have for our program. I have to admit, I have been using K* for many years prior to this position. When first introduced to Sunwave, I was not a fan as I was so accustomed to K. The previous EMR's I have used do not come close to either of these systems. I have now used it for several months and am a huge fan. Especially now that I am able to work on the forms to create an ease of the workflow. This is much easier to do in Sunwave than in K**. The functionality is much easier across the board as well. I also appreciate that Sunwave continues to work on not only making things user friendly, but also keeping up with the times and utilizing technologies that are within Sunwave. Great job. This is one of the easiest and most user friendly EMR's I have used to date. They made the set up and implementation easy. Alex was a no pressure salesman who simply put a solution in front of us. Our implementation specialist Heather was amazing and very attentive to our needs and goals as well as our wish list. The reporting capability is the best I have seen in the industry. Every note can be audited easily before executing Billing. Customer support is always available and responsive. I’d just say like I consult for licensing/accreditation and work with several products and Sunwave is by far my favorite bc of user interface, support, and reporting versatility. Cons Sometimes navigating the system is difficult. Once I get the support, it all makes sense. Still getting use to reading the MAR's and would like to see improvements made in this area, but I am adapting. I wanted to integrate some of my other software. The only con here is the cost for the monthly integration of an API. Updating certain fields can impact historical data when running reports. I don't see many negatives with this particular EMR software. It is easy to use and a value add to any organization who utilizes it.
