About

SimplyRCS is a US-focused RCS Business Messaging platform from Signalmash. Brands send verified, branded, two-way rich messages, carousels, images and tappable buttons into the default Messages app on both iPhone and Android, with no app to download. Describe a bot in plain English and the AI builds it on a visual canvas, then runs it in production, answering only from content you approved and handing off to a human when a conversation needs one. One account covers RCS, SMS, MMS, short codes, toll-free, 10DLC and WhatsApp, with automatic SMS and MMS fallback so delivery never depends on the handset. It includes campaign blasts, a shared inbox, contact lists with auditable opt-in logging, and delivery and engagement analytics. Brand registration, 10DLC, carrier vetting and Google RCS sender verification are handled in-house. The platform runs on direct Tier-1 US carrier connections and is SOC 2 Type II attested.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • The most valuable aspect of the tool is its direct impact on business performance indicators. By being able to send dynamic catalogs and incorporate quick reply buttons directly on the user's home screen, we drastically reduce the steps needed to close a sales cycle. The analytics dashboard provides impeccable tracking of the audience's exact interaction with each card in the carousel, giving us very clear data to optimize campaigns in real time.
  • Implementing the RCS protocol has allowed us to send interactive messages with call-to-action buttons, product carousels, and high-resolution images directly to the user's native SMS inbox. Furthermore, real-time delivery and open rates are extremely accurate, and brand verification lends a tremendous level of trust to the messages, drastically increasing open and conversion rates compared to traditional plain text.
  • What I value most about this tool is its intuitive interface and the speed with which I was able to launch my interactive messaging campaigns, especially the ability to send multimedia content, call-to-action buttons, and carousels directly to mobile devices without requiring any additional installations. Furthermore, delivery and open rates far exceed those of traditional email, resulting in a much faster and smoother response from my audience.
  • I appreciate how efficiently SMS, MMS, and RCS messages are filtered and organized, making conversations easy to manage. Conversations can be closed once an issue has been resolved and assigned to the appropriate team when necessary.
  • I like SimplyRCS because it’s easy to navigate, has a user-friendly interface, offers a straightforward setup, and provides a smooth, consistent messaging experience.

Cons

  • The cost per interaction compared to traditional email packages remains high, which requires carefully calculating the return on investment before launching mass campaigns.
  • The biggest drawback remains the fragmented coverage depending on the mobile carrier or the customer's device. If the end user has an older phone or their carrier doesn't support RCS, the platform resorts to sending a conventional SMS, which disrupts the rich design experience you had planned.
  • I encountered some technical and adoption limitations worth noting, starting with the fact that the RCS protocol still relies on carrier and recipient device compatibility, meaning some users with older devices receive only a standard text message. I also felt the developer documentation and advanced customization options could be more comprehensive, as integrating with my own systems required extra setup time due to some hiccups in the process.
  • I haven't encountered errors; however, overall, everything else has been running very well.
  • One improvement I’d like to see is a dedicated SimplyRCS mobile app on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, making the platform easier to access and manage directly from mobile devices.
