About
Apple Mail is an email client that is included on iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac devices by default. You can link it to your Gmail account, or use it instead of Microsoft Outlook. There are two ways you can set up an email account in the Mail app on your iOS device — automatically or manually. Apple may collect and use your domain address (for example, yahoo.com, gmail.com, etc.) in order to improve our products and services. Beyond this, your full email address will not be stored, and will not be used or shared with third parties by Apple. About
The OpenText Core Email Continuity solution ensures continuous access to email even when your primary mail infrastructure goes down, by automatically redirecting messaging to a secure web portal or Outlook via POP/IMAP, allowing users to read, reply, forward, compose, and send email normally during outages. It provides up to 30 days of stored inbound messages, preserving recent email history. During a mail-server outage, incoming messages are spooled at the spam filter, and users are automatically directed to the continuity service; once the primary server returns online, all email activity (sent items, replies, forwards, new messages) syncs back automatically to the main mailbox, preserving continuity. It requires no additional hardware, it auto-provisions through a central portal, and runs transparently until needed. Access can be from any device, anywhere, via web or standard email clients.
