About

1Channel's Payment & Credit Management module gives distributors and FMCG brands a single system to record incoming payments, enforce credit discipline, and keep high-value orders under control. Payments can be allocated against pending invoices automatically or manually (cash, cheque, bank transfer), with outstanding balances tracked in real time. Credit limits are configured per customer with three ways to handle a breach: stop further orders, allow one more order, or block the account until dues are cleared. Returns automatically generate credit notes. Orders exceeding a retailer's credit limit route through a configurable multi-level approval workflow (up to 7 levels), with approvers notified by email or WhatsApp and every decision logged for audit. A payment analytics suite with 24+ reports gives finance and sales leadership visibility into collections, outstanding exposure, and approval turnaround time.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • We’ve been using uFlow for a while now in our credit risk team, and it’s been a really solid experience. What we appreciated most is that our business users can update decision logic themselves — no need to wait for engineers to implement small rule changes. The interface is clean and intuitive, and it made it easy for us to test and deploy changes quickly. We also integrated external data sources (like KYC and credit APIs) without much hassle. Support has been responsive and helpful. Whenever we had a question or needed to explore a new use case, they were quick to assist. We were hesitant at first to move away from our in-house logic, but switching to uFlow has made us much more agile. We can react faster to policy changes, test new risk strategies, and make adjustments without slowing down product development. If you’re looking for a flexible decision engine that puts control in the hands of your risk or operations team, I’d definitely recommend giving it a look.

Cons

  • Smaller company, so less brand recognition than legacy providers, however that is in constant growth and change. Advanced analytics still need to be done outside the platform (e.g., custom model training). But in the end it is better to have a specific tool for that using all the data and not only what the engine "sees"
