This configuration tool and simple windows service aide in turning any Windows 7/8 system into a persistent WiFi hotspot. in 1.0, you must still manually configure ICS (see the readme file included in the install for detailed instruction on doing so)

Requirements:
- A windows 7 or 8 system with a connection to the internet (cabled or WiFi)
- A wireless adapter (can use the same adapter that is connected to the internet, works with USB WiFi cards as well)
- .Net Framework 4.0 - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851

  • Windows Service Daemon - Starts the WiFi hotspot on system startup and after resuming from sleep
  • Interactive Command Line Installer - Configures the hotspot and installs the windows service
  • Service Control flags - The service executable accepts command line arguments to start, stop, install, and uninstall the service for automation purposes
