Swiftcord is a native Discord client for macOS built with Swift and SwiftUI. It is designed to feel like a natural Apple-platform app instead of a browser-based wrapper. The project focuses on fast launching, smooth navigation, lower system overhead, and tighter integration with macOS interface patterns. Swiftcord v2 is being rebuilt from scratch with a new codebase and a cleaner performance-focused architecture. It also highlights rich message rendering, embeds, voice and video support, keyboard shortcuts, system materials, and experimental iPadOS support. The current v2 project is in prerelease, with access planned through a waitlist and source availability following public release.
