Microsoft Nunca ha creado un cliente para su sistema operativo, es aquí donde entra Proyecto Caliburnus, para brindar un simple cliente, que accede al la web de SkyDrive donde la misma interfaz gráfica ayuda mucho al usuario a navegar en el sitio, cargar contenidos crear otros y editar.
