Show-down works great.
Thanks, it was time someone made a good alternative to TED. This seems good, i haven't downloaded anything with it yet, but I like the TV show database. It would be nice to have a TPB rss feed thing as well, I think the database has to be updated, Because there are no shows as "New Girl" "2 Broke Girls", also Is it possible to add Discovery , and National Geographic Shows? There are no shows from those channels. :(
Pretty good for a first release. A few things I would recommend. The Installer assumes that the user will have no problems with UAC, or permissions; on Win7 I needed to install it somewhere else other than the default install directory. I tried installing and running it with Admin priv's but I still had trouble with the program saving my show list. I ended up installing it elsewhere and have no problems now. Secondly there seems to be no way to add custom shows from within the app. Once I added a show, I found out where the "myshows.xml" file was and I imagine I could just follow the xml structure and add my shows that way. The things I like: Currently in its state, the only usable feed is from isohunt. But unlike TED this app allows you to build your own feeds. You could do it with ted but their program was hampered by needing to rely on a file from SF's website. Doesn't look like this program has that limitation. Also I like that most of the requirements are still editable for each show (min/max file size, seed limits, etc). I certainly hope the author can add custom shows. plus others can get together to build some more feeds. This program is definitely a worthy install.
Greta thus far for automatically downloading torrents. Simple, straightforward, looks like a good replacement for TED. Hoping it keeps up with my shows over the coming weeks!
