Screen2ipcam is a lightweight native Windows application that turns any Windows PC into a standard ONVIF Profile S / RTSP IP camera. Instead of purchasing expensive HDMI encoders, capture cards, or additional hardware, simply install Screen2ipcam and your computer becomes discoverable by ONVIF-compatible NVRs and VMS software.
The application streams the Windows desktop using H.264 RTSP, supports Main and Sub streams, JPEG snapshots, and WS-Discovery for automatic ONVIF detection. It works seamlessly with Blue Iris, Dahua, Hikvision, Agent DVR, Synology Surveillance Station, and virtually any ONVIF-compatible surveillance system.
Screen2ipcam is ideal for POS terminals, supermarkets, retail stores, pharmacies, restaurants, factories, warehouses, schools, offices, control rooms, industrial SCADA systems, reception desks, and digital signage where recording the computer screen alongside surveillance cameras is required.

Wanted the office PC recording into the same NVR as our cameras. Normally that means buying an HDMI encoder. This just installs on the PC and shows up as another camera. Took me about ten minutes. My NVR found it automatically, stream came up fine, no messing about. Small download, doesn’t slow the machine down. Does what it says. Would recommend if you need a screen recorded alongside your normal cameras.

After reading about Screen2ipcam on Reddit, I decided to create an account just to leave a review. The first thing that surprised me was how small the application is—less than 5 MB. I honestly wasn't expecting much because of its size, but after trying it, I was impressed. Installation took only a few minutes, and it was very easy to configure. It worked perfectly with my small pharmacy setup and integrated with my existing surveillance system without any complicated configuration. What I like most is that it simply does what it promises. Instead of using multiple programs, scripts, or capture devices, everything is handled by one lightweight application. If you're looking for an easy way to monitor and record a Windows desktop through your NVR, I definitely recommend giving it a try. The free version is more than enough to see how useful it is before making any decisionReply from screen2ipcam
