Really impressed with Screen2ipcam. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and works smoothly with ONVIF/RTSP systems. I especially like that it turns a Windows PC into an IP camera without needing extra hardware. Wanted the office PC recording into the same NVR as our cameras. Normally that means buying an HDMI encoder. This just installs on the PC and shows up as another camera. Took me about ten minutes. My NVR found it automatically, stream came up fine, no messing about. Small download, doesn’t slow the machine down. Does what it says. After reading about Screen2ipcam on Reddit, I decided to create an account just to leave a review. The first thing that surprised me was how small the application is—less than 5 MB. I honestly wasn't expecting much because of its size, but after trying it, I was impressed. Installation took only a few minutes, and it was very easy to configure. It worked perfectly with my small pharmacy setup and integrated with my existing surveillance system without any complicated configuration. What I like most is that it simply does what it promises. Instead of using multiple programs, scripts, or capture devices, everything is handled by one lightweight application. If you're looking for an easy way to monitor and record a Windows desktop through your NVR, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
