libSBML 5.18.0 installers for 32-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems
Important: Before you install libSBML using these installers, please uninstall any existing copy of libSBML located in the same destination on your computer, or you may end up with mixed versions of different libSBML components on your system.
C, C++, C#, Java, MATLAB, Perl, and Python installers
This directory contains installers for precompiled versions of libSBML 5.18.0 for 32-bit Microsoft Windows systems. They were built with the libxml2 parser library, and include accepted SBML Level 3 packages plus interfaces for the following programming languages:
- C
- C++
- C# (.NET)
- Java
- MATLAB
- Perl
- Python (but see below for better option)
Here you will find the following files:
- libSBML-5.18.0-win-x86.exe -- Complete libSBML binary distribution.
To use these installers, download the file to your computer, then run the file, and follow the instructions displayed by the installer program on your screen.
Python installer
The Python folder contains installers for the Python libSBML interface only. Download and use one of these installers if you only need the Python interface. (The interface is also included within libSBML-5.18.0-win-x86.exe, so if you downloaded that one, you do not need this one too.)
R installer
The R interface folder contains installer for the R libSBML interface only. This is not included in the main installer.
Javascript/PHP/Ruby interfaces
We do provide support for these languages but it will be necessary to build them for your system (see Additional information below).
Additional information
If you need to use a different XML parser library, it will be necessary to build libSBML yourself from the source distribution using suitable configuration flags. The procedure is described in the libSBML documentation. The source and documentation are available from the top-level download directory, http://sourceforge.net/projects/sbml/files/libsbml/5.18.0.
For additional information about this version of libSBML, please see the documentation or visit the libSBML website.
