Obsidian IRC Studio is a free, lightweight Integrated Development Environment (IDE) designed specifically for creating, editing, and managing mIRC scripts. Built with VB.NET and Windows Forms, Obsidian IRC Studio provides a familiar coding environment with a dark-themed interface, syntax highlighting, line numbers, multi-tab editing, file management, output/error panels, and more.
The built-in mIRC script editor provides syntax highlighting for commands, events, aliases, variables, identifiers, strings, comments, operators, numbers, and flow-control statements. Large scripts are handled efficiently with optimized highlighting and smooth scrolling.
Obsidian IRC Studio is being actively developed with the goal of becoming a powerful, standalone development environment for mIRC scripting without requiring mIRC to be installed.
