Mesh126 is a lightweight messaging stack for HF (shortwave) radio.
Its engine, datac3 , is a Rust program that transmits and receives
FreeDV DATAC0/3 frames through `libcodec2` (8 kHz mono audio).
- ed25519 identities (short ID = xxhash32 of the public key)
- a "public channel" in clear text and a "private channel" encrypted
end-to-end (x25519 ECDH + ChaCha20-Poly1305)
- acknowledgements, multi-hop relay (TTL, loop-avoidance, booster mode) and
a "public-channel repeater" mode
- nicknames and `@mention` highlighting
- a "TCP "TNC" server" : connect any text client (PuTTY, netcat…) — multi-window,
per-peer ports, ANSI colour
- "RA (amateur-radio) mode": public, clear text, callsign in header
- an internal loopback mode to test without a radio
The "Mesh126" Android app is the companion mobile client.
