Mega5 is a classic Deathmatch Mega wad set for Doom2. Limit removing. Meaning it will run on just about any source engine minus VPO and SEG limitations. Mega5 is a 22 level Deathmatch mega wad for Doom2 source engines.
This Mega pwad requires the Doom2 IWAD and your favorite source engine to play.

Enjoy!

For Linux users.. Mega5 is a PWAD.
It is a resource file/deathmatch map set consisting of 22 maps, to use with any source engine that is supported on Linux. It will not run by its self.. You will need a source port engine to run it. e.g. PrBoom or Doom Legacy, there are several source ports that compile under Linux. It also requires that you have a Doom2 IWAD to play.

I should again mention that a deathmatch wad, in this case a mega wad, has been created to play online or in a LAN scenario, competitively against other players on a network.

//-------

At some point I do plan however to create my own Doom source engine.. If there isn't enough already, heh.

Features

  • Mega5 also has a map00 potral for zdoom based source engines

User Reviews

  • I just downloade Mega5 and wanted it to start under Linux (Debian Wheezy) ... but it did NOT start ... the same under Wine ... Is there a Linux-version available?
