I am the author of the program Pixelitor and it is clear that this "jPhotoshop" is just a fork of an old Pixelitor version. Pixelitor is GPLv3, so anybody can fork it, but this guy never even mentions Pixelitor, although it seems that all he did was to rename all "Pixelitor" strings to "jPhotoshop". He also provides no source code, which is probably illegal, this being GPL. Note that the real Pixelitor is actively maintained, and source code is available. Also note that there is another project on SourceForge called JPhotoShop (started earlier than this), which has nothing to do with this.

Handy awesome program for image editing! Has filters, effects, layers and much more, very simple and intuitive UI. Definitely better than simple editors like MSPaint and definitely much more simple than GIMP and Photoshop. Good work! P.S.: Jarfile on sourceforge seems to be corrupt :(. Can look also here: code.google.com/p/jphotoshop/
